You can’t ever go wrong with Mario... Nothing groundbreaking, but a game you can play with your girlfriend or little nieces/nephews who might just be getting into games or not too familiar with today’s fancier and more complicated selections.

I bought this for nephew as his first switch game. This is a great game to gain a foundation for Mario games in general. A starting point for a new gamer.

You better not expect to buy this and not get so frustrated playing that you want to throw your switch at the nearest wall. It may be challenging, but if your like me, it is a welcoming and rewarding one. This game offers a fun and new experience while it maintains the same superb formula that made Mario so popular. I myself have been more on the Playstation side of gaming. So playing this has been Uber fun and novel for me. I love the simplicity of the game and the ease of which i can just hop on, play a level or two, and either furiously rage off, or opt to take a break, having had my gaming needs satisfied. Great game to play on the go and a must have if you haven’t been a nintendo head all your life up till this point.

I love playing the original game back in the day and this game takes me back to those days. This game has fun new twists and more challenging levels. It is nice to be able to play together with friends in story mode.

The Super Mario Bros have been at the pinnacle of platform games for decades and this game follows their established model very well. The animations, power suits, and level design all work together to produce an enjoyable experience for Mario fans. While it doesn’t necessarily break any new ground, it is a solid offering from a company that knows fun. Definitely play as a single player, but only do multiplayer if you’re not easily angered by your gaming buddies.

Its a great game for keeping the kids engaged. Thanks to Best Buy for having this!

Great Super Mario Game! Big High Definition Map, and Excellent levels to play.

I love this Mario game, it’s way more addictive and harder than Mario galaxy. I love the old school feel, and the different elements that were added to the game, if there was one Mario game, that you must have, this would be the one,

Its the same exact game as the Wii U version only with slighty higher resolution. Also includes some extra stuff but nothing major. Great game, if you have never played it then its a must have for your switch.

Its a mario bros game. Theres not much to not like. I bought it for my brother for his switch. He and I like to play and talk through videogames. It's a nice bonding experience. But its also again, a mario bros game. Sometimes the level design gets repetitive.

Even though my son played this on Wii-U, we purchased it for Switch. We've strictly been playing two player and getting all of the big coins and secret exits. It's been great fun and a good way to get new experience out of a remake.

Fun to play with my wife! We stayed up all night on our honeymoon playing this game!

We weren’t able to find the new oled switch in time for Christmas but mid January by sheer luck I was able to get one at my local Best Buy. I purchased this game as the first game for my two girls ages 5 and 7. This is their very first video game console and they love this Mario game. They got the hang of the controls very quickly and my husband and I help them out with the more difficult levels. Multi player mode is fun and kids love that mom and dad are playing video games with them. Dare I say we are now cool parents? All around fun for all of us and I’m glad we bought this one first.

This was a highlight from the Wii U library, and it is great that it is given an extra life on the Switch. Adding in the Luigi content is a great bonus, and it is easy to recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the series.

2d super Mario games sometimes feel a bit old school but this remake of the game is still a lot of fun. Granted, it isn’t a massive overhaul of the old game so that’s a bummer if you’ve already played the other one a ton but there’s enough here that it’s worth playing again. A nice touch is the ability to play as other characters that make the game easier as that lets younger kids experience it with less of the frustration.

The game was a little bit more advanced than expected but my granddaughter seems to love it.

A great game if you like nintendo. This game is fun and has the right amount of easy and hard so you can keep going through each level. This game was the reason I bought a nintendo.
