Bought this during the Mar10 sale after checking the reviews. It's a good Mario style game that allows for some variety in the characters you use, including a super-easy mode for the younger set (or those of us who aren't too good at platformer games). I haven't had a chance yet to try the co-op mode, but single-player has worked well so far. Only complaint is minor - it would be nice to get a description of what items are supposed to do for those who are unfamiliar with them.

My grandson really wanted this multi-player game. He plays with his cousins, friends and even his parents (not gamers) are up for the challenge. He loved the game so much, I bought a second game for another grandchild.

Great port of the game originally on the Wii U. This is more of a 2.5d side scrolling mario game, more lik the originals. It's a nice to play a throwback style mario game. Great for getting kids into Mario!

Brings back memories! My 5 year old and 7 year old and I LOVE playing together! It’s easy enough for them but still challenging enough! Must have for a Nintendo switch system! You will spend hours of play!

As a port of a Wii U launch game, it’s still as enjoyable and fun as I remember it. However, it’s essentially the epitome of “classic” Mario gameplay; it doesn’t take away from the fact it is a great, wonderful game, especially with multiplayer.

Old school mixed with the new graphics and challenging game play this has been awesome so far and a really good buy

This is a great Mario game. If you own a Nintendo Switch and you played Mario as a kid, then I highly recommend buying this. Takes me back to when I played on the older consoles growing up, but the graphics are great!

Good game Easy to get the hang of Lots of fun but still not as much fun as super Mario kart

This is an exciting platformer from a long line of amazing platformer games! Always love a good Mario game and this is no different. The multiplayer function is amazing and the visuals are gorgeous! Must buy!

I had to take away a star from making this review was: these games are quite old and repackaged at a price of $60. (Although, I've got it at discount of $50 with my $10 gift certificate) just wish it was reasonably priced at $40 to make it worth it. But nonetheless, it's great to see Nintendo haven't forgotten these New Super Mario Bros series. P.S. wish this game have the New Super Mario Bros Wii as a nice added bonus to have 3 games on the go. Other than that, I'm a happy camper!
