This game is absolutely amazing. Can’t go wrong with Mario. Wish it was a bit cheaper but still a great game!

I really enjoyed getting the old skool Mario experience that does not look like crap on a 4k tv. I have been having a lot of fun playing Mario but realizing how much harder older games can be. I do not remember Mario being so difficult but you hit the jump button at the wrong time you do not make the jump and die. It has taken some getting use to and many times I thought about throwing my controller into the tv. It has been a return to childhood for me and I am sure that if you really enjoyed playing Mario that you would dig it as well.

All the old school nostolgia you could ask for and easy to play with my kids. My kids are obsessed and it's fun to play as a family

While enjoyable as a throwback to the class "side-scrolling" Mario games, the controls are a bit touchy and I find myself getting frustrated at times with the ability to finish levels. Not that the game isn't fun, it very much is great fun at times, especially as someone who grew up dropping quarters into the arcade machines. While I have not played the multi-player version, that could be a great change to the way the game plays.

Great mario scroller. Have been playing 2player co-op which makes things even more interesting. But need to get better controllers than the standard switch controllers. Some levels are really hard.

If you played it on the Wii U, you know this game is pretty awesome and good, got it on the switch to take with me on the go, it’s the same game with some extra features, but in all honestly the fact that I can take it anywhere sold me on it, really have enjoyed it!

Awesome game, it's very fun and addictive. It's best played with more than 1 player but the levels get really difficult the further you get in the game. Overall it's definitely worth picking up if you haven't played the Wii version.

Great game great graphics very easy game until you get to the lungi deluxe game it’s much harder with new levels which are really different and difficult this a great game if you did not have a Wii U So I would recommend it love the switch

I went ahead and gave this 5 stars since it's Mario Bros and the gameplay is fantastic. It's nostalgia and good fun all at once. I do have one complaint that I'm sure Nintendo cares about. Saving your progress makes no sense. Evidently it only saves when you beat a castle, and the quick save only works during that game session. Please make it so that wherever you decide to stop playing and save, that's where you start the next time. Seems easy right!

I got this one after seeing some video trailers on it and was excited to try out the toad and peach characters which met all of my expectations. I love this game takes me back to my childhood and reminds me of how awesome it was.

Great game and always fun! Crisper graphics and brighter colors than Wii U version. Awesome to be able to play portably! I also own the Wii U version and completed the 3DS version, which was one of my favorite 3DS titles.

Pretty tough game for a Mario game especially if your playing with someone.

My family and I love just about every Mario game. I originally played this on the Wii U, but bought this Switch upgraded version after seeing the Mario Brothers movie that got us hyped to play the games again. This version is a graphical upgrade from the original NES games. My children have a lot to learn about 2D side-scrolling platforming. Aside from the occasional indie game, kids don't get accustomed to platforming games anymore. If you grew up on the original Mario games, you'll enjoy this one quite a bit.

Overall, I love the Super Mario Bros. video-games, they're usually a guarantee of fun, entertaining games, and this is no exception. The multi-player option is sooo much fun, and a little bit of a challenge too, 'cause you really need to work as a team with the other players. Haven't had the chance to play through it all, but I definitely recommend it. Only thing I wish this had is the option to save at any time, otherwise, you have to at least finish one sub-castle, or the final castle of each world.

I own this game on the Wii U. I decided to get this game on the Switch so that I can have portable freedom. I got it on sale for $39.99. If you do not own the Wii U version, this game is a must own to the Switch library!

Very Fun Game that takes me way back when I was growing up. Now it looks even better as technology has improved so much. Now I am playing with my kids and they are hooked just like I was when I was their age!

My 6 year old son is into everything mario so even though he has this game for the wii u he wanted to be able to play it on his switch so I we got it for him. I just feel like nintendo charges way too much for older games.
