I spent many hours playing this one on the Wii-U. The "Mario" game is your typical Mario side scroller. I found the most fun with the "Luigi" game. It is far more challenging. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it was a lazy port with no real new content added. If you have the Wii-U version, you are basically buying the same game for full price.

great game that pays homage to the OG side scrollers on yesteryear. while fun, it can also be extremely difficult, esp when playing with multiple people.

My son will play this one for hours on the weekend. He likes to play on the hand held option for the Nintendo switch.

A coworker recommended this game to me, and it was like going back to the late 80s and early 90s. Mario was a part of my childhood, and being able to play it now at almost 40 years old is unforgettable. Mario U Deluxe, in my opinion, is like a combination of Mario 1, 2, 3, and Mario World. I highly recommend the game to all Super Mario Bros. lovers.

I like playing the old mario games and this game is just that with a newer twist to it....easy to play with new characters. Great levels and classic game play.

Very much enjoying the side- scrolling, 2D Mario. Bought this game during Mar10 sale. Brings back nostalgia from Super Mario Bros on NES and Super Mario World on SNES.

I didn’t have a Wii-U so I never had the opportunity to play this before. This reminds me much older school Mario games with a world map that you traverse space by space and try to clear the level to move on. As the game progresses, the levels become much more difficult, some a bit more pain staking than others but, all still doable. The most difficult part is figuring out how to collect the three large coins in each level. As someone that doesn’t have a great deal of time to play, I didn’t finish this myself but, was satisfied completing the game.

This game is so nostalgic and it’s very fun with the switch.

This is a nice game for a 7yr old its not so hard for them to play and they get really excited with the characters they can play.

The play game of super Mario Bros U deluxe is an excellent idea for the kids they have lots of fun and they enjoy every second. I'm old school, so i was looking for a game that brought memories back.. i absolutely love it. Lots of fun n i play better then the kids, which is a big plus.

Brings a little bit of old and new. Very nostalgic plus playing muiltplayers is a very fun aspect of the game.

This game is literally a reincarnated version of the classic Mario bro’s, except with a fun twist to it! My family can’t get enough of it.

I did not have this on previous system so it’s a new game to me. Fun game to play with friends of loved ones. Its definitely harder when playing with extra people on the screen, but it’s also fun to try and finish levels together. Good game, got it on sale. But honestly not sure I’d want to spend 60$ on it

If you are a fan of Super Mario Brothers!!!! This embodies the classic super Mario brothers video gaming from the vintage systems. Playing makes me reminisce the times I was playing Super Mario Land on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game definitely has the Super Mario Land feel, but has a pinch of the original NES Super Mario Brothers 3. Only made it halfway through so far, very challenging but not stupid hard. And if you get stuck on an area and die multiple times it offers you an easy mode if you want to take it, which should be very helpful for young kids
