This game is as comfortable as a an old flannel shirt. I remember playing the original Super Mario Brothers games. This one is just as much fun and challenging as they were. The graphics look much like the original games, but are much cleaner. The gameplay is better than the old games because they wisely added the special abilities of the Wii controller into the game in places. This game is a hoot and great when the TV gets boring (in other words, most of the time). I watch TV shows less now and enjoy it more.

Got the game for me and my boyfriend for xmas since we both love to play the older version. We are very happy with the product!!

Grew up with the side scroll Mario's and this continues with old school game play as well as several new features. This game is a blast to play and the levels can be very challenging at times. Graphics are good for what the Wii can do but you get so emersed in game play that you don't really pay attention to them after a while anyhow. Eight mulitlevel worlds with a ninth that is unlockable provides good game length. This game doesn't pretend to be something it's not, it's just straight forward fun!!!!

Have a six and eight year old that can play this game forever, but turn it off after 1 hour a day... Hear them laughing all of the time... Great game to get kids through the winter blues...

I like this game a lot. I bought it for my wife because she wanted it for Christmas and am playing just as much as she is. The multiple player option is fun! I wish you could save more often as it takes awhile to go from castle to castle. I have spent many hours playing this game and I still love playing it. We watched a hint the other day which blew our minds. We learned you could do things I wouldn't of even tried. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking at it.

This game will keep you entertained for weeks if not months. It stays true to the original Mario classics but at the same time puts a Wii spin on it (no pun intended). It also has a lot of new things the others didn't, new worlds, new challenges. You wont be disappointed with this game. I hear a lot that you can't play as Bowser or the Princess, that's because they're part of the storyline!! Anyway, its a lot of fun like most Wii games, and Mario games for that matter.

This is the new updated version of the original classic Mario Bros. Very addictive and hours of fun. The levels are details are similar to the old version with new twists.

This is a must have for every Mario Fan. This game is everything good from Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World squished into one package. The levels are familiar, yet things been changed enough to bring you a whole new Mario experience. For the first time ever you can also enjoy the game with up to 3 other players...at the same time! The first Multi Player side scrolling Mario title ever! All of this adds up to great fun for kids and adults.

1st of all finnaly a game where you can play more than one person in the same window w/out split view or split screen. Tottaly updated with game save not like the old downloadable version on Wii ware channel ,that you loose your progress everytime you quit . I highly recomend my neice is 5 and i'm 40+ and we both have tons of fun playing together or alone . only Reason it didn't get 5 stars on length was because we haven't finished it . lol Have a Great Time

We bought the New Super Mario Bros. for Wii just before Christmas, and our family enjoyed it through the holiday. It can be addicting to play, and fun to see how different family members collaborate to beat levels. We were a little disappointed to see that there weren't really any competitions outside of the game (like when you play Mario Kart you can challenge players without playing the real game) and the competitions still involved playing the real game.

Graphics are great and sound is great. Its fun to be able to play with 3 other people all together at the same time. If one person gets further ahead, the camera pans out to show more of the screen...very cool. All the classic characters are here, but look better than ever before. Its everything you loved about Mario side scrollers.... with better everything. What are you waiting for? Go get it!. Its fun to play single player, but much funner with friends.

BEST GAME EVER! IT IS SO VERY FUN, AND GREAT TO PLAY 2 PLAYER. REMINDS ME OF THE OLD MAIO BUT ONLY BETTER!

I have to say I was a little skeptical at first before getting this, but once I picked my own copy, I definitely didn't regret it. This game brings back a lot of that old game play and excitement we all enjoyed back in the early days of Mario Bros that comes with updated options and moves exclusive to the Wii game console. So if you miss playing the old Mario but can't deal with out dated graphics, pick this game up today, you won't put it down!!

I got this game with the Wii as part of a Christmas gift for my kids. I got it so that I would have something other than Wii Sports to play since my kids are only 4 and 3 years old. I like the fact that you can play the game like the original Nintendo game with only two buttons and directional pad used. The game is a lot of fun as a family/group game since you can play up to 4 players are the same time. I would highly recommend this game!!

Upon getting this game for Christmas, three of us sat down to play it. As soon as we got on to the first level, we knew it would be great. The way the Wii remote was used it in, especially for the flying parts was great. There were only two complaints I had, and that was the shortness, and how the multi-player would kill you. Mostly with the length. After sitting down, that day we got to I'd say, level five. But if you get into this game and all of its features, you can beat it in two or three days, first try. But, I guess it's not really that big a deal. We've replayed it a bunch of times. The multi-player can be annoying too, but I suppose that this is all meant as just an extra challenge. There is a feature with bubbling, but those can kill you very easily. So, if you're playing for just the fun of the game, multi-player is great. But if you're going for that all-time record, or out to test your skills, I recommend no more than two players. That will give you that nice balance. Other than that, I have no complaints. Now, the pros. This game has great graphics for a Super Mario game. Plus great levels. I loved how they included A LOT of original Super Mario easter eggs. Remember "Infinite Lives"? Well not only does this one allow you to do that, but when you get 99 lives on Mario, his cap comes off! All for the fans. A definite buy for the hard core Super Mario fans, and the newbies. With the capabilities to actually carry other people, you can help them through the game. Plus it's fun as heck to kill the other guys. :D So go, buy it! Now!

Have always been a fan of mario brothers games. Glad they finally made one the whole family can play at one time. We have had no problems and continue to enjoy this game as a family. Plenty of laughs and you never know what will happen when four people are playing.

great everything..u cant stop playing it...but some of the levels r hard for me lol

I've been playing the nintendo since my brother introduced me to it as a child. The mario bros was ALWAYS a favorite of mine. I'm usually not one up for remakes, but my hat is off to nintendo for this one! I love the stunning new graphics, storylines,action/adventure, and the characters. this game is incredible!

Most enjoyable game I own for the Wii. It may not heavily utilize the features of the Wii, but this is classic Nintendo at its best. If you liked the original through SNES, then this will send you back. Love the addition of penguin, propeller, and micro Mario, and the addition of the co-op mode. I wish there were more built-in co-op competition type things, but I suppose that's what Brawl is for!
