I have always liked Super Mario Bros. I think Wii took it to another level with more options to make it fun to keep playing and going back to play in worlds already unlocked.

We had a Christmas blizzard, my Brother-in-Law, his girlfriend and I got stuck at my house for 3 days, we played almost the whole time and had tons of fun and lots of laughs.

I bought the game for my wife, i am not a Mario fan, but since we got it, i dropped the Xbox 360 and play with this game... it is just fun to play.. especially with others.

Its Fun, Easy to learn, cool mini games. It is callenging but not to hard. Great graphics. My daughter had it on Nintendo DS and wqanted it for the WII -she is very happy.

I got the game on Christmas and it was great. Great powers that you can unlock. Great graphics, great new levels!. This is great to play with a friend or the whole family.

New Super Mario Bros Wii is such a wonderful way to relive the old days. Plays just like the old 2D mario games and has all the little pieces to love and remember. On the Wii side of things, there are two types of control. Classic where you hold the Wii-mote like the original NES controller or with the nunchuk plugged in and used like a joystick. The classic modes plays very well and is very intuitive. The other mode may hold some appeal for others but does not for me. It feels odd and seems to hinder play.Overall though, its a great game if you like the classic games. Nice to see a GOOD 2D game in this era.

This has got to be one of the funnest games ever. I got this for my niece and she loves it. The problem is now that her dad loves it too much. Good game for the family.

I bought a wii just so I could download mario 3. So the day this was released I had to rush out and get it. I love this game from the secret endings to World nine and the gold coins. I wish that I could use the classic controler just because that is what I am used to. Love the new power ups, It just took a while getting used to playing with the remote and setting it down or moving it a little and having mario spin jump or fly to his death. I love the wall jump feature in this game, it makes getting to higher items so much easier. I grew up playing mario, and now my eight year old is as addicted as I am.

This is one of the best games from Nintendo besides Mario Kart. This gives you hours of challenging levels and just as fun as the original Super Mario way back when.

I was quite excited to learn of a new Mario Brothers game. It's not a 3-D title like Mario Galaxy? Cool. It's a side-scrolling platformer like the originals? Excellent! You can have 4-player simultaneous gameplay? I'm sooo there! Was I in for a shock... Here are the positives: Great graphics and a look that remind you of the titles we played 20+ years ago. Those are the ONLY positives. Negatives--where to start? While the games looks nice, the motion controls for the Wii are greatly misused. Motion control should not have been integrated into this title at all. The motion control seems as if it were only an afterthought and only helps you die (frequently) during levels. Give us a classic control scheme for a classic franchise, please. Constantly shaking the remote to do simple tasks (like, oh, JUMPING) makes the game lose a lot of it's throwback-feeling to the original games. The game is TOO HARD. I appreciate a challenge, but when you have 43 lives left and lose them all within 5 minutes, that seems a little excessive. I can't even rate the 'length' of the title because I couldn't get past the second world. I gave a 1-star rating to 'challenge' because it's too tough for me and my friends to enjoy. We just want to see the game, not wear all of the enamel off our teeth from grinding our chops in frustration. The selling point for me was the 4-playes co-op mode, but you will likely only get in each other's way and die by pushing/bumping someone off of a ledge iinto a firepit accidentally. The Wii will not let you copy your save data to the SD card. A friend of mine made it pretty far into the game (before he lost his teeth from grinding), and I tried to copy his save data just so I could see the game. No luck. This title is also somewhat sexist. Where is Princess Peach? My girfriend was excited that you could pick which character to play with, but had to settle for an androgynous mushroom (Toad). Ladies play video games too, Nintendo. In summary: if you want your kids to see what we played when we were their age, if you want to take a trip down memory lane, if you want to show reverance to a stalwart game franchise, just spend 500 Wii points and download Super Mario Brothers 3. This game seems fun to start, but the newness/novelty wears off quickly.

My kids love playing this game over the weekend. Lots of laughter, sometimes frustrations, but well worth it. Probably the best game one could ever own.

As a person who grew up with original Nintendo Mario Bros., this is a great addition to the series. They were creative in enhancing such an old concept, and it works very well. What sometimes doesn't work well is the multi-player. Just playing with one other person is difficult because you are always running into each other and it is hard to move along since sometimes you need to wait for the other person. Many times I died because the other player got in my way while trying to jump over a hole or something. All in all though, this is a great game that you will get addicted to pretty quickly.

I bought this game for my kids and they love it, to me this is it's the best compare other games of course old fashion game. I'm totaly recomended this product.

This is a great party game, and a must have for any mario lover. If you love Mario, get it! It's more fun to try to sabotage your friends than finish the level.

It is a classic game with enhancements. I love being able to play 4 players with my wife and 2 older kids. It challanges you, and make the classic game better.

This game is a home run when it comes to entertainment. Even the folks who don't typically get into video games will enjoy the multiplayer mode immensely. Get four people playing together at once and you have hours of entertainment. The only drawback so far is that when you're playing the traditional medthod of beating levels it gets difficult when four people are trying to play at the same time. Some of the levels are best played by one....maybe two people at most. Other than that, this game is worth it's price even at full price. It will definitely be the one you play the most.

Tons of fun, hard to stop playing once you start. The multiplayer option is great and is what makes the game. If you love old mario games, you will love this!

I bought this game for my wife for xmas and we ended up breaking it out early on Thanksgiving. The entire family loved it. We love this game and recommend it.

I invite groups of friends over to play this game, and it always creates a fun environment and keeps us all entertained. I have really enjoyed this game.
