It feels a bit light/cheap but that it part of the reason I bought it. My son is 5 and has is very likely to drop things he shouldn't on our tile floor (I blame the dino nuggets). But so far it has held up nicely. My only gripe is that you cannot turn on the console with the controller. You need to turn it on with another controller or physically push the power button on the machine. Not a dealbreaker by any means.
