Worth to have.

The camera will work with the car on and off. Your insurance provider will thank you and maybe give a discount.

Not the best

But inconsistent mobile app performance and occasional looping/storage issues undermine dependability. For the price it delivers key features, yet reliability concerns hold it back from being a premium pick. A decent choice, not a flawless one.

No smartphone accessibility???

Set-up is a no brainer and actually using the device is easy as well. My biggest issue with the device is not having smart phone accessibility which, had I known before purchasing, would have been a deal breaker for me. All in all it’s definitely a good product just which it could connect to my phone in any way.

Thank you for your review, I'm afraid the 320XR model does not have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and therefore is not mobile app compatible. We have a simple code that helps identify if a model is app compatible- it will have a 'W' at the end of the model name. This shows that it has 'Wi-Fi' and can be used with the app. E.g. 322GW, 422GW, 522GW, 622GW etc.

Do not buy this model

Nextbase 320XR Front & Rear Dash Cam

This Nextbase camera package fit the bill. I prefer dashcam setups to have both front and rear view capabilities and this model does the job. Alternatively, the auxiliary camera can be used to record interior views. I purchased the max size micro SD card and set up the camera. The rear magnet was a little tricky but I used a dab of automotive adhesive tape to keep the rear camera steady and at the capture angle I desired. Be sure to look into the hardwire kit for a seamless install.

Dash Camera

This was recommended by a friend who has one. The price was within budget and I have not had any issues since I bought it. Installation time was not bad so far as you have a good technician. I will recommend Bestbuy Installer if you buy it there. They are pretty good and reliable.

Overall good product

It does not have night vision and it is difficult to see any recorded videos without street lights.

best bang for the buck

An affordable dashcam

Had it hardwired for so the motion sensor is on at all times amd the picture quality is good. Only downside is your not able to view anything on thier cloud service . Other have it where you can have the sd card and cloud service. Other than that im happy with it

Longevity is an issue...

Good 1080p quality, consistent front/rear recording. I did have the 'pink' rear camera issue intermittently but that's not an issue now - 13 months since I bought and it doesn't record any more - the camera just continually restarts now when power is applied.

Thank you for your review, you may be having an SD card failure. Please remove the SD card, then press the reset button on the underside of the Dash Cam using a pen. Then, without the SD card inserted, please turn on the Camera. Does it now start normally?
If so, then I would recommend replacing the SD card and ensuring the replacement is being formatted every two weeks.
