    The deisgn of the camera is nice. Back camera is nice and covert and I cant see it from the outside wirh ny tented windows. I'm not sure if the one I have is truly defective or just a global issue. My back camera outputs video with a pink hue when it's sunny outside. I've seen other reviews from customers with the same issue. Also the camera shutsdown reboots sporadically. It's not worth keeping since its unstable so I'll be returning this one for another brand.

It sounds like the rear camera connector (30cm from the rear camera) may be a little loose, so I would recommend disconnecting the connectors and re-plugging in the cable until you hear a click.     The camera worked OK for the first few weeks but then corrupted multiple SD cards and is now unusable. Completely unacceptable for this to happen within a few months of purchase. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this garbage.

      Hello Joseph,
      I am sorry to hear that you are having some issues with your 320XR, it sounds like you're having an SD card failure.
      SD cards only have limited lifespans. In our manuals we recommend formatting every 2-3 weeks to prolong the life of the card. Without this regular formatting, or if the card is non-compatible or damaged, the card could corrupt which would cause a failure of data writing.
      Symptoms of SD card failure are: an audible 'alarm' tone, non-functional buttons, freezing, corrupted files on playback, image missing from files, lack of file recording etc.
      I'[d recommend checking that your SD card is a compatible Nextbase SD card and is being formatted every 2 weeks.

    The negative experience starts as soon as you take it out of the box. Mini USB for power for some reason, and a super short cable because they expect you to use the cigarette lighter for power without recognizing many cars come with USB ports that can handle the draw. So you gotta buy a long cable if you expect to do that. Then there's the hair brained choice that if the cable doesn't go into the hidden port inside the mount, it boots to a screen with options instead of to the actual dashcam recording. Overall the experience with this has been negative and I'll probably return it.

      Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do offer a hardwire kit that connects directly to your car battery. If fitted to a permanent live supply, the inbuilt minimum voltage limiter will protect the car's battery from going dead. With the Hardwire Kit installed on a switched live supply, the Dash Cam will power on and start recording automatically when the vehicle starts. The hardwire cable is approximately 16 feet. The cable does need to be connected to the mount so that the dash cam can be powered correctly in order to record.     Great camera. My only dashcam. Wish it came with more of the mount adhesive. It doesn't last very long. Especially during the summer.
