    Camera is really picky about memory cards (must be U3, must be less that 256 GB). Once I sorted out which memory card it needed, then it stopped booting and recording. Nextbase support took over a month to approve a replacenment. I have replaced the camera with another from a different company, and I will not buy another Nextbase product.

  • don't buy if you want to hardwire it

    do not buy this if you intend to hardwire it. It killed my battery. Yes, it has a setting to cut itself off if it detects the battery depleting. But if its 32 degrees outside, this cutoff does not leave much room for error. brand new battery in the car right before I bought this camera. I'm a mechanic and did parasitic drain test on the battery and this camera was drawing 250 milliamps with the car off. over 50 milliamps can cause a battery to drain to quickly

    It’s a good item - Standard use. Has no WiFi capabilities. Perhaps it would be a good investment to upgrade to a Wi-Fi camera purchase.

    Nextbase only allows you to use a Nextbase microSD card. The price of a Nextbase microSD card that matches the requirements is $100. Not worth it, considering that the DashCam kit is already $150. If you have the money, sure. Go for it.

      For a 320XR we recommend a Dash Cam compatible 32GB -128GB U3 Micro SD card, specifically designed for Dash Cam or CCTV usage. At BestBuy, compatible Nextbase SD cards start from $19.99. Using a dash cam compatible SD card will allow your Dash Cam to function as designed. The card needs to have a minimum continuous write speed of 48MB/s.

      For guaranteed functionality and warranty of the SD card itself, we always recommend using a Nextbase SD card within a Nextbase dashcam.
