I dont like this camera; my is currently using it and it doesn’t stay

Excellent. The equipment records motions and events even when the car us parked. Hopefully no one will hit my car and make false claims.

Did not like the fact that it you cannot easily move from one car to another. I returned the item.

Front and rear cameras with motion activation its great

If you are looking for something that is basic and gets the job done, this product is for you. After a week of operation, I have no complaints.

Nextbase 320XR with rear camera is a winner. Everything you need is included in the box except for a high speed U3 micro SD memory card. Although it is recommended to purchase it from Nextbase I am using a generic U3 64Gig card with no issues so far. Installation was relatively easy and they include a tool to help pull back trim in your car to route the wires. Nice touch ! The front camera mount is placed on the windshield with a strong adhesive pad. The camera then connects to the mount by way of strong magnets. Your DC power, from a cigarette lighter plug ( Im old school I know ) attaches to that base. The rear camera uses a similar adhesive pad as a mounting base and the camera is also held in place by strong magnets. The rear camera attaches to the front camera via a supplied 6 meter cable. This however makes you remove the connection when you remove the front camera to download your videos. It would have been nicer to have the rear camera also connect to the base. This installation for my car was quick and only required the included tool. When first powered up it ran me through a quick setup. It is recommended to charge the internal battery that keeps date and time when powered down. You can download a user manual that is clearly written and has many installation tips and clearly describes the many user options on the camera. Once setup was completed I started recording. The camera starts when power is applied via the lighter plug and turns off in about 30 seconds when you turn off the car. No need to use the on/off switch. You can choose to record sound or not. There is also a clearly marked button to press to protect the current video file from being overwritten. This removes the worry that your video file may be overwritten on a long drive. Each individual video file can be as long as 3 minutes each. You can view videos on the camera or download Nextbase playback software for your PC. There is none for Android or IOS since there is no WiFi.. The camera appears as a drive and you can easily select them to play or edit the videos with the Windows software. It also has a zoom feature and I was able to read license plates with no issues. The video is superb for both front a rear camera ( 1080p) You can also upload your videos to the cloud to share. If needed you update your camera software via this program. As of now there is no need to update the software. In the event of a crash the G force sensor will protect the video file from erasure. Ill take their word on that and not test it. It also has a parking feature that will record a protected video if you get bumped while parked. I tested this by moving the camera while turned off and it came up and started recording a protected video. That is a great feature. What I would have liked to see in this camera is GPS to provide speed and location and WiFi to make it faster to download files to a smartphone or tablet and not have to rely on PC or laptop. These features may be in a more expensive model. Having said that I still believe this is a valuable product to have in each car in the household and I feel more secure having installed it in my car.

No wire-fire, no Bluetooth built in the unit. Opened to setting up but the situation just not worthy the time.
