    Purchased this dash camera set and was very disappointed to say the very least. Its not compatible with its own computer app. As for the compatibility with iphone app, i never could get it to work properly. Took approximately 3 hours to install, start to finish. No Bluetooth capability and without the camera being compatible with either apps (computer & iPhone) there was no way to review and save any footage AND update the cameras themselves. Also never could get any answer but was placed on hold when attempinvg to contact Nextbase directly. Definitely a outdated substandard system. Dont waste your money.

      I'm truly sorry to hear about this negative experience with your 320XR camera.

      Unfortunately, this model is not app-compatible, meaning you would be unable to pair it with your phone.

      To view your recordings, you would need to plug the camera into a PC or remove the SD card from the camera and plug this into a PC to view your footage.

      The camera is, however, with MyNextbase Player; so you should be able to use this PC Software. To try and resolve this issue, please reach out to us at nasupport@nextbase.com

    Great value

    Price is really good with free install included. Works well. Took some time to understand the menus but working well now. Would prefer Bluetooth connection but much more costly

    Disappointment

    I've owned this 320xr for 16 months now and it's been a headache. Two months after I got it it started acting up. Rear camera started to record "pretty in pink", I had to restart it every time it would start doing it which was every other day. A few months later it would be every day. Then it completely stopped working, I had to restart the camera twice a day, sometimes 4 times until it would work, wasting time in the process. I format the sd car regularly and it's a Nextbase, firmware up to date. These rear cameras are defective and Nextbase knows. When they work they are good, but unfortunately they don't all the time. I bought this model to be protected in case of an accident but good luck with that, it might be recording or not ........

      I am sorry to hear that you are having some issues with your 320XR. It sounds like the dashcam is not being charged correctly. I'd recommend checking whether your cigarette lighter cable or hard wire kit is correctly plugged in and whether the blue LED is being lit on the dashcam when it's plugged in (which indicates charging).

    Records in Purple- Don't Waste Your Money

    I've had this camera in my car less than a year and the rear view camera is recording in purple. Nextbase customer support said that it was because the connection to the main front facing camera was loose (it wasn't loose) and when the problem didn't resolve itself they said I needed to update the camera's firmware. When I did that I get an "SD card error" message. I reached out to them on December 28, 2023 and have yet to hear back from them about how to resolve this issue.

    Poor device

    I was gifted this camera 2 yrs ago. 2 yrs to the date it stopped working. I contacted Nextbase but they where useless. I do not recommend this products

    NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NEXTBASE APP

    This is the only model that isn't compatible with the NextBase app. Also, the app itself is not very good for other models. I returned this product the day after my purchase.

      Hi John,

      The following dashcams cannot be used with the mobile app:
      122, 122HD, 222, 222G, 222X, 222XR and 320XR.
      These models do not have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

      The following dashcams are mobile app compatible:
      322GW, 422GW, 522GW and the 622GW.
      If it has a W at the end, it has Wi-Fi and is therefore compatible with the mobile app.

      All models apart from the 122 and 122HD are compatible with the MyNextbase Player computer app.

      If you would like to use the mobile app instead, I would recommend upgrading to the 322GW.

      Hello James,
      The 320XR does not have any internal memory and does require a compatible SD card to be able to record. We recommend using a Nextbase 32GB-128GB U3 SD card.
