Work great, easy install.!

However, i forgot that one of the cars had a rear door that side opens. Made the rear camera harder to install with the cord. That was on me not the camera. Other than that, they work great and very happy

Good not great

It records an hour extra after you’ve parked the vehicle so be prepared to search through lots of footage. Low audio output. Too bad doesn't work with the app that would’ve been really helpful rather than connecting to computer.

The camera should not remain on after the ignition is turned off, it should only record in case of vibration we would recommend checking the set up of the camera to make sure everything is set up correctly.

Good little dashcam

But it comes on when my car starts and goes off when the car does. It is working like it should. I wish the display was a little bigger. Other than that, I have no complaints.

good, attractive dash board camera

Best Buy tech Danny did a great job installing it, and giving me a 10 minute over view of what to know, at the level I needed. It fits discretely behind my rear view mirror.

Good starter dashcam

Rear camera is basic but it does the job. Front camera has necessary features but lacks 4k and access to the Next base app. If you can afford the 522 or 622, those are both awesome and much better but this dashcam is still sufficient and is a great starter cam!

Just charge it... before plugging it in?

Had I known that you had to charge it (two hours before each use) before plugging it into the car, I wouldn't have bought it for ten bucks. It goes to low battery LONG before the end of the day, rendering it useless. And that's without even adding the rear camera to the mix. I should have returned it, but I waited too long to install it. eBay it is, I guess...

We're truly sorry to hear about this negative experience with your 320XR camera.
Our Dash Cams have a very small battery inside them, which is designed to be of use in an emergency situation, such as loss of power during an incident.
Our cameras are designed to be used with a constant power supply either by the 12V power cable or using a Nextbase Hard Wire Kit (the USB cable is not meant for powering the Dash Cam in the car).
I'm afraid they're not designed to be used without a constant powering source.

Camera good rear mount not so good

Posted .Thanks for your review! I am sorry to hear the rear camera mount doesn't work ideally with your SUV. Should you choose to purchase another Nextbase dash cam in the future, I suggest looking at our 322GW models or above as they can all work with our rear-view camera. It is a rear camera that attaches direct to the front facing camera.

A software nightmare

It's too much of a hassle to access your videos. You cannot use their app on this camera. I didn't think that would be as much of a big deal as that actually is. I've tried the software from Nextbase to access the videos and it will not recognize the cam. I tried 3 different computers. I gave up and used my old card reader and Windows Explorer lol. You're unable to view the video from the camera itself. But that video is SUPER crisp.

Great camera!

Do not leave it in direct sunlight, unprotected heat, or water, like most electronics, is best to remove the camera from the bracket when your vehicle is not in use. It has a strong hold mount, the picture quality is great, i really like that it records front and back with or without sound. The camera is small, it doesn't block my view when driving, im very happy with this product.

Concerns with the rear camera..

It seemed to be having connection issues that would come and go. I had planed on returning the product because of this. But after a few days of use the issue resolved itself. Hoping not to have further concerns as the window to return the product has passed.
