So far so good. I haven't needed to look at any footage yet. But it comes on when my car starts and goes off when the car does. It is working like it should. I wish the display was a little bigger. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Works good, had some issues first getting it to record properly but after a day it seemed to fix itself. It records an hour extra after you’ve parked the vehicle so be prepared to search through lots of footage. Low audio output. Too bad doesn't work with the app that would’ve been really helpful rather than connecting to computer.

So far so good cannot complain will be updatimg the review on this after my family uses it for a month

Having cams in your car has become an almost necessary part of being on the road to cover oneself in case of an accident or break-in/theft. This cam system will prioritize key videos and save them over the other less useful moments on the road, so there is security in the video(s) you need to not be overwritten. There are multiple options on the market and this one meets my needs.

Super easy to install. The image quality is ok. I drive in a dusty environment. If you don’t keep the windshield and back window very clean the camera will focus on the closest object which is usually dust. This makes anything in front of or behind your vehicle slightly out of focus. It’s not a deal breaker for me so I’m not going to return it. The images are still clear enough to tell what happened if there was an accident.

Fairly compact & easy to use. Installers at Power Road location in Mesa, AZ are the best! Used them for all of our vehicles for the past several years!

I bought two of these and have the same issue. They are pretty good cameras. The image quality is not superb. You won't be able to read license plates unless the car is directly in front or behind and reasonably close to you. I guess you need a 4K camera if you expect to be able to read all license plates. It's easy to use and install. The only issue is that the rear camera occasionally has a pink screen. One camera was doing it a lot. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent a replacement. The replacement still does it, but not as often. I've seen it happen in my other unit as well, but that one is behind my mirror so I can't see it so well to monitor the issue. It seems to be a recurring problem with this model not isolated to one unit. Overall, I would still recommend it, but just know it has its limits.

I bought two of these for my daughters' cars. They work great.. However, i forgot that one of the cars had a rear door that side opens. Made the rear camera harder to install with the cord. That was on me not the camera. Other than that, they work great and very happy

Works as well as could have imagined. Im no car stereo installer so wire is exposed but im sure an easy fix for those who care.

just got this installed, bought it on sale with free installation. Best Buy tech Danny did a great job installing it, and giving me a 10 minute over view of what to know, at the level I needed. It fits discretely behind my rear view mirror.

Camera has a clear crisp picture, as does the rear camera. Access to files is easy, and the application self updates.

I bought this on sale and if I hadn't of waited past my return date to install it - I would return it. It's too much of a hassle to access your videos. You cannot use their app on this camera. I didn't think that would be as much of a big deal as that actually is. I've tried the software from Nextbase to access the videos and it will not recognize the cam. I tried 3 different computers. I gave up and used my old card reader and Windows Explorer lol. You're unable to view the video from the camera itself. But that video is SUPER crisp.

The camera is great I do not like the magnet mount for the rear camera as I have an SUV and the rear hatch opens and closes often and I have to constantly readjust the camera

Being a best buy total member makes buying tech easy, no install fees. Do not leave it in direct sunlight, unprotected heat, or water, like most electronics, is best to remove the camera from the bracket when your vehicle is not in use. It has a strong hold mount, the picture quality is great, i really like that it records front and back with or without sound. The camera is small, it doesn't block my view when driving, im very happy with this product.

This dashcam is very good for the price and the combination of the rear camera. Rear camera is basic but it does the job. Front camera has necessary features but lacks 4k and access to the Next base app. If you can afford the 522 or 622, those are both awesome and much better but this dashcam is still sufficient and is a great starter cam!
