I found this dash cam does not perform well for the price range it is in. Overall video quality during the day at 4k 30fps is decent but doesn't seem like 30fps also at 4k you can only read street signs and license plates directly in front of you. Dropping the quality to 1440p 60fps playback becomes more smooth but most license plates become unreadable. At night,this camera is just above worthless even on well lit city streets. Needless to say I returned the dash cam and purchased a refurbished/discontinued Waylens camera that I know performs well.

Love this dash cam and highly recommend. Footage is crystal clear and super smooth. Transferring footage to the app is easy and I love that it displays a digital speedometer. Haven’t been in a position to NEED one yet, but glad I have this one if the day ever comes. No suction cup mount is a win for sure

Powers up and records as soon as I start my car. Easy setup instructions and great recording quality. Also allows you to set it up where if you do get into a wrack it sends the footage to your insurance right away and calls 911 as well.

I have two. They're just OK. Can never connect to my phone to get video. Good luck finding the menu to reformat the card. Poor interface. It works, but just barely.

This dashcam had very good video quality, even at night. However the windshield mount did not last a full year and neither did the memory card. The dashcam lasted just over a year. Maybe I’m unlucky but I would not recommend this to anyone. The company refused to replace it because it was just over the one year mark and do not sell replacement parts or have repair companies in North America. They did over a 10% off discount code

Great Video and easy setup. The suction cup is great but the sticky tape on the connector will not stick in high heat.

I had a great installation experience, and in the 2+ months since i had my devices install all is still working great.

Was told by salesman that dashcam has a wifi and and app. Only to find out after the installation that no wifi and obviously no app. Shame, for this price point. So, in order to see the recording, the choices are to use card reader or see it on the camera screen. Like in stone age. Installer nrvef mentioned about lack of wifi as well. The choice of dashcams in the stiore is pretty poor. Next time, I will look elsewhere.

I did a lot of research, and this is one of the best dash cams on the market at this price point. As a bonus I caught it on sale for just $319 which is a solid discount. Buy with confidence…it has too many features to list.

It is installed but I cannot get Alexa work or it paired to my phone I really thought it would be easier but even two of my sons cannot figure it out. Try to call the store for support but that’s a ten minute wait

Camera it’s great and easy to use. But when I use it Couple times freezes- nothing works touch screen block same as buttons, so after reset , same thing, working 2 or 5 hours and sometimes 20 min freezes I returned.

Did installation my self. Pretty simple set up. So far so good.

This camera has a wonderful display and super capabilities. Love it but haven't gotten the entire manual read yet. The quick start guide is minimal but you can download the pdf manual. You will need that to easily use all of the features.

i have used this product in the past and like it, but, best buy sent me an open package and the rear camera did not work. so i returned it.

Its going on 6 months that i have owned this dashcam and havent had a single issue.

Best one so far, I use it every day in a truck record like champ day, night and rain easy to save videos or reviews

Nextbase 622GW is a very capable dashcam. Some of the notable features would be a touchscreen, GPS, and mobile app. There are some critical things that differ the good from the mediocre dashcams, and those are video quality and ease of use. The 622GW does decent in video quality and excels in ease of use. To begin, the setup of the dashcam was extremely easy. The mount to the windshield is small but feels very secure when attached. The dashcam connects to the mount with magnets and actually takes a bit of force to separate the two. The mount accommodates quite a bit of movement to so that you can get your dashcam to be level with your car. As far as using the dashcam itself, it is a touch screen which avoids many of the confusing navigation problems on those that do not have one. You are able to view your recent videos quite easily, and you are also able to save the videos you want to prevent them from being overwritten. However, it does feel like the dashcam software was a bit of an afterthought, and the focus was on the mobile app. Some quality of life features such as saving an image, browsing the videos as a file browser instead of having to cycle through them one at a time, and even zooming in the video. These are things that I have seen in cheaper non touchscreen models so it was very disappointing that they are not available here. The mobile app does solve this in a sense, as you get much more information including a map and telemetry info which is nice. The video quality is decent at best. You have multiple modes to choose from (4k30, 1440p60/30, 1080p120/60/30) and the 4k quality is a little lacking. At best, in a moving car you can see the plates of the car in front from about two to three car lengths away, which good, but not great. The image is not as crisp as you would expect from a 4k image, there is actually quite a bit of noise in the videos. Overall, this dashcam is a great camera. The features it provides can definitely save you some stress when an accident actually happens. The GPS and mph indicators can save you from a ticket or two, and the ease of use gives you a peace of mind that you are able to show the officer exactly what happened without wasting time.
