    I wanted to love this. I gave it a bunch of chances to fix itself but it was pretty garbage in my experience. The 4k video quality looked worse than a cheap 1080p camera I had before this, the connection with the app was buggy and unreliable, I couldn't get Alexa to work at all, and the thing would randomly glitch out and stop recording often. It was terrible and I HAD to return it. Especially disappointing considering the price.

    Had problems connecting to wifi. Had problems connecting Bluetooth. Had installed by best buy. Installers had no clue how to teach us about the product since they were "unfamiliar" with the camera. Also camera wouldnt turn off and in fear of it draining my car battery I unplugged it and it still wouldnt turn off so at that moment i decided to completely remove the camera that was installed 2 hours earlier and return it to store for refund. Complete trash for a 300$ camera!

      Hello Smoke,

      It sounds like Parking Mode was enabled on the dashcam. For Parking Mode, if the camera is completely still for five minutes (the car is parked), then the camera will 'hibernate' in Parking Mode. If the dashcam is being moved, then the cam will stay turned on.

    App doesn’t work can’t download videos to phone. Cabin camera don’t get the full back of car and can’t see people at night with it. Customer service was nice, but I don’t think it’s worth $400. I got the camera because I drive for Uber and Lyft, but it’s not good for it. Great camera for daytime videos.

    Software is so horrible I don't bother using the camera anymore. Nextbase customer service is equally as bad.
