I have reviewed many security camera systems and if you want the details you had best go 4K. With that said the Nextbase 622GW fits the bill: recording in 4k up to 120fps it also includes voice control, Emergency SOS(three months free) and a 3inch touch screen (though this does have quite the large bezel around the edge), image stabilization and an adjustable polarizing filter. Some of the additional features worth mentioning are Alexa voice control, linking to your cell phone, super slomo, enhance night vision and extreme weather mode. The phone app could use some additional polishing and is not as well designed as the unit itself. The app provides a live video feed once connected to a device, and each video is accompanied by map and telemetry data such as speed, GPS coordinates and direction of travel. The night vision is surprisingly clean and not grainy. I product is a bit on the pricy side and does not include a SD card so you will need to purchase one of high quality, fast with a U3 rating. REMEMBER to check for and update the firmware. Most units will have a firmware update. The GPS stick on mag mount with power connector is adequate but I found the 12 volt socket power supply to be surprising. There is an optional hardwire mount and I felt the 12v socket adapter could have instead of hardwire had a USB style plug. The other surprise was the use of a mini b connector to the unit which IMO pretty outdated connection. There are numerous combinations of video resolution and frame rates with the 4k 30fps. I would have liked a higher fps but this selection seemed to be the best for quality and clarity needed to capture license plates dependent on the lighting. There is a rear camera available but from my understanding it is linked with a hard line which in a lot of instances would be a royal pain dependent on your vehicle.

I'm giving this camera a four star "Good" since we've only had it for a few days. It was a Christmas gift and so far so good, however I also have the Nextbase 522GW on another car which convinced me to buy this one for my newest vehicle. I enjoy the slightly bigger screen and the added clarity on the 622GW.

I purchased this unit to replace one I was unsatisfied with. Since owning this unit, I am completely satisfied. It is small and. constantly shows the road ahead with a perfect picture, while driving.

Totally love this dash cam. Excellent quality of picture. The view range is fantastic. I have dash cams before and this one in particular is the best. There are a lot of options to customize exactly what you want. Love it!

Great product. A little difficulty getting Alexa set up but you have to be connected to the dash cam via Bluetooth before it will allow you to link. I really love the quality of the videos and the optional rear cam. Thanks NextBase!

This camera I was hoping was gonna be great. But it had a blurry picture. It kept freezing up, the screen would go black while driving. I didn't like this dashcam at all.

I brought this for the wife and she loves how it captures everything that's in front of her.

I had to purchase this item because my old dash cam was stolen out of my car , was nice I could just snap on a new one . I gave three stars because the packaging when I received it showed it to be unopened however, upon opening the mounting bracket for the window, sticky piece was opened on top. There was still someone else’s phone paired to the device, if this truly was a returned item then it needed to be reset before Best Buy turned around and put it back on the shelf. Kind of disappointed.

Best dashcam out there. Great features, reliable, effective. I wouldn’t bother with other brands.

I bought this dash cam with confidence. The quality and structure of it is great. I ended up returning it as you have to purchase the the rear separately if you want to have both sides. It's an extra $99.00 if its not on sale. So totaling out to $598.00 pre tax.

Had installed and it was good. The problem was syncing my phone to the dash camera. After spending 3 hours trying to get app sync up with the phone was a pain. I'll test the real footage today
