Pretty good device to have if you have to do alot of driving. The more driving I do the higher the risk of running into situations that I wish I was able to get my phone out. The video quality is excellent. There is no buffering or missed actions. It is a slight delay by maybe 2 seconds but not enough to be an issue for me. I was hoping it would give me an option to stay on if I was parked in a parking lot momentarily but I don't see that as an option necessarily. It does feel a little invasive if honestly if I thought this cam could just turn on when I wanted vs when my vehicle is actually running. I am looking forward to getting the review cam as well with it. I use an android and currently have NO issues with using the app. The sd card is needed to connect with the app. I tried without it and all it would do was search for the device. Downloading videos or pictures is just as easy as using the app. Not a lot of complicated buttons or things to maneuver between when simply just looking for your footage.

Really enjoying having my 622, have caught people jumping red lights and stop signs. Great image quality and really easy to download videos and share

Best Dash Cam I could possibly buy. Very easy install and easy to access videos that I shot on my last family road trip! It's nice to have in there to protect my 17 year old kid when they are driving as well. I've had a few dash cams now and now that I have the 622GW there is no turning back

Haven’t had a dash cam in the past and was skeptical of how it would work. Love this cam! Easy to use and great video quality. Haven’t gotten in a wreck yet but have confidence it will pick up all of the necessary evidence.

Pros: (1) Allows storage on a removable microSD card and includes a 128GB card and an adapter. (2) Incredible mounting hardware design that allows camera attachment and removal by way of a strong magnet. (3) Gorgeous display with responsive touch-screen control. Cons: (1) Battery charging makes the unit so hot that all the electronic controls become inoperable - once hot, you can't even turn the camera off. (2) A fully charged battery will allow you to control the camera again once it cools down (unplugged), but battery life for me has been about 20 minutes total. (3) Truly sketchy app - my app only reports being linked to the camera when the camera is off - when the camera is on, however briefly, I cannot get the application to find or connect to the camera. The application seems much more anxious to allow me to insure my camera can connect to Alexa - which it would do through my phone which can already connect to connect to Alexa by voice from my pocket. This is a beautiful camera with an impressive display and an innovative mounting mechanism. How this got shipped out with a horrific battery situation is unbelievable. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone.

Great Camera, footage is exactly what I needed, easy to install. Buy a decent SD card as theres lots of crap on the market

Had trouble with hanging up but after upgrading software no problems. I'm using SanDisk micro 256G and Nextbase micro 256G. They are working the same. I've recorded trips with no problems and excellent video quality.(over 9,000 miles). Night video is great. Occasionally it writes over previous recordings with no problem. Stabilization is great. I had to remove the polarization filter because I had tint on my windshield and was getting "rainbows" on the videos

I'll make this short and sweet. Don't buy this unit, it is junk..... although the picture quality is very good the camera freezes up every 2 to 3 days.... Yes I format my card every 2 to 3 days and yes I bought the nextbase sd card. Its not worth the money.

I am on my second one and keeps freezing, and randomly stops recording. I went to pop out the memory card and instead of it popping up like it should it just went in further and now I can't get it out at all. I got it hardwired to use the parking feature only to find out it useless for me because the Nextbase Dashcam as it can't handle the sun or heat for too long (my first one the display peeled up or seperated) so I am always taking it down when I park . Luckily I bought the extended warranty at Best Buy so I will exchange this for a third time, and just be out the money for the stuck Memory card. I am actually going to see if they will let me just swap it out for a different band. I will lose the money for the hardwire kit and what I paid to install- but at this point I don't care. 2 stars because the video is good. If you do purchase this on eget teh extended warrenty from BestBuy

This dashcam has all of the bells and whistles...and more! My wife and I were looking for a dash cam that was easy to set up, use, and move from vehicle to vehicle. We also appreciate the integration with Alexa!

Amazing product!! Saved me a lot of money as it's captured footage of someone hitting my car overnight! A must have item for all drivers. Told my besties to get one as they can save a few bucks.

My cheap Amazon Dash Cam broke and I decided to get a decent camera after too many near misses. The image quality on this is awesome - would recommend.

overall it is what it says it is. I am unable to use all the download and other features so that I cannot rate. So far so good.

Y'all need to get one of these! It's so easy to use, love the app! I feel much safer with it in my vehicle! 10/10 best purchase I've made all year!

I had to replace mine under warranty Just before it ran out. It constantly errors. Must be reset monthly. App has difficulty connecting. Sd card is hard to retreive and this last time got completly stuck and would not recognize sd card in camera. Its total garbage. There are more affordable reliable dash cams available . Would not recommend.

Honestly, Nextbase is trash. Such a headache and frustrating mess and this was a gift. Worst gift ever! This fancy good for nothing dash cam only takes the overly priced (HA! No surprise there) memory card or if you try another card the device will freeze. Anyway, speaking of freezing. This device is not reliable, as it freezes all the time, even with it's fancy overly priced brand-name memory card. So frustrating. I am frustrated writing this review. What a waste of money and time this device is. Also, trying to upgrade this trash device is the worst; most of the time the upgrade will fail or it won't find the upgrade, etc. Please, please, please do not buy Nextbase anything; I don't care if it's a slice of bread. It is worth it. More expensive and added features is not worth it. A basic dash cam would have been so much better. I am throwing this in the trash where it belongs.

Nextbase 622GW 4K has a very amazing display. It's packed features. But they need a Lil more tweaking. But overall, the camera is still amazing. And I am sure with companion app updates; it will get even better. I look forward to seeing it get even better,

The Nextbase dash cam is a great item for the price and offers a good amount of features that others don’t. The biggest plus I enjoy is the wireless availability, there is no need to keep it plugged into a charging port or hard wire it into your vehicle, the rechargeable battery offers an excellent amount of power per charge, enough for your daily commute or weekend road trips. You will need a micro usb card (sold separately) for your recordings, that’s about the only con I’ve had with it. It works with Alexa, iPhone, iPad and android. Integration was pretty seamless.

Great product that has excellent camera quality. Once it's installed, it just works.
