Nice dashcam
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are a lot of things to like about this dashcam. The menus are simple. You have choices as far as the picture quality and video lengths. I stuck with the defaults of 1-minute videos, and 1080p / 60fps. Audio recording can be turned off if you don't want the videos to include the sound from inside the car. The windshield mount (suction cup) holds the camera magnetically, and it's a strong magnet. The camera gets its power through the magnetic connection, so when the dashcam is connected to the mount, there are no cables connected to the dashcam itself -- only to the mount. This makes it easy to remove the camera to connect it to a PC. There are 2 included cables: one for connecting the camera to a PC, and the other for running around the windshield to your car's power socket. The long cable that came with this Nextbase camera was just slightly longer than the one that came with my previous dashcam, and the length was perfect for my vehicle. There are 2 apps that can be used with this dashcam. One is the Nextbase player, which you use on a PC and allows you to edit the videos. You can trim them down to just the seconds you want if you need to send video evidence. The player also shows your location on a map as you drive, including your speed, GPS coordinates, and heading. The other app is for use on your smartphone. This app connects to the camera via WiFi, and it is used to view videos on the camera and download them to your phone. On the first day I used it, the app crashed quite a bit on me. Since then, it has been more reliabe. Note that this dashcam does not come with a memory card, so you will need to buy one. From Best Buy, I purchased the SanDisk Ultra Plus 64GB microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card. It is working well with the camera. To sum up: Positives: Nice options, videos include speed and location, well-designed mount, good software for PC. Negatives: Memory card not included, app can be unstable.

Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Camera quality is great. Set up was not bad. Just make sure you have your phone Bluetooth on and WiFi connected. The only thing i do not is how long it takes to connect to my phone if I want to upload videos from the camera to my phone. You can view videos on the camera itself if you need to which is convenient. 128 GB micro SD memory max. You can use any brand. To make it great, I wish they can provide a setting for brightness so sunlight is not captured as much.

322GW and rear Camera
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this and then ordered the rear cam a few days later. I have to say I like the camera. Easy to use and simple installation right out of the box. The features are what sold me, easy connection and once you run thru them its a fast set up. Only thing I came across is using the bluetooth/phone the camera shuts off and restarts after about 5 min or so. I hope a new update will fix this. I will survive for now and I would reconmend this product if you are looking for a good mid price range dash cam. I would also reconmend getting the lens filter.

Car camera
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera is great and easy to set up. HD video looks clear. Would give five stars but the Nextbase app is not the greatest.

Decent Dash Cam
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For about the price, this isn't a bad dash cam, the app is pretty decent and easy to work with. It does come with either a suction cup or 3M adhesive sticker and the magnet that attaches it to the GPS is strong. The only problems that I have is that you have to clear the memory every so often (I can't seem to find a way to make it override the old video) and once or twice it doesn't register the SD card so it freezes.

Great value, works well.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works very well. It must be fully charged before initial use or you'll have issues, the battery life is very short. Larger than some more expensive options, but not a problem. Format the memory card every other month or so.

Posted .Hello,
Thank you for your review.
It’s good to know the 322GW meets your expectations. The inner battery is for emergency purposes only, this is why the Dash Cams need a constant power supply.

Nice dash cam
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't had much time to tinker with the cam. I had Geek squad install it for me and I wish they would have shown me how to use the app properly, I assume the covid precautions had something to do with that. Overall the camera seems to work flawlessly and the viewing screen is clear and easy to use the touch screen aspect. The clarity of the camera seems nice. I have yet to pull the micro SD and view anything on the computer to actually see the quality of video.

Gets the job done
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this camera to use the parking mode to be honest, I have a brand new car and I don’t trust people. The parking mode works well the only downfall I’ll say is the app for the camera, I expected it to do much more. You have to be in the car with the camera in order for the app to work and I don’t like that. The camera works well, it’s small and people can hardly see it in my window. It’s clear and crisp and I can easily re-watch footage.

Great DashCam
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great DashCam. Easy to setup and install. Comes with both adhesive and suction mount options. Video is clear and transfer to laptop to playback is easy. You can also watch video on the DashCam or wirelessly through your smartphone. Only complaint would be that glare is an issue. I ended up buying the polarizing filter for this camera to help with that.

Great when it works
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Aug 30, 2021, it started having issues mid-May, 2023. I could never get my phone to find the camera after it was paired days later, I would have to un-pair then re-pair the phone to connect even though my phone was on the pair list. That's fine, minor inconvenience. Camera has a battery not a capacitor. If it is freezing (32-35 degrees Fahrenheit) or warm, camera will shut off. I am in the Pacific Northwest near the Canadian border where heat does happen but not often. 85 to 90 degrees will make the camera turn off. I do have the rear camera option attached to the main unit, not the wired camera that you run to the back of the vehicle. Ok, deal with it. It is now less then 2 years and the camera just cycles on and off by itself. Resetting, reformatting the SD, removing the fuse (it is hard-wired), and doing a complete charge and reboot does nothing. For the price paid, the camera should last longer than just over a year in a half. I gave 2 stars because there is a function for it to show speed as a screen saver when driving which was excellent and I greatly enjoyed as I could see it clearly with where the camera was mounted. If only it would have lasted longer in a mild climate. I really love this camera and the quality of videos and options, but I can't recommend due to the failure of the camera in the timeframe I've had it.

Posted .Hi Lario, what brand of SD card are you using? Using a Nextbase SD card with our dash camera is recommended as our cards have been specifically designed to cope with the demand our cameras put on them with loop recording and wear leveling. While a non-Nextbase SD card may work for a while, it will eventually fail and will cause the dash camera to fail as well. Great entry level camera.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought on sale, very easy to set up and connect to the app. Crystal clear picture. Considered a higher model but realized most of the cost was for features I'd never utilize. Hard wired myself using a separately purchased hsrd wite kit.

Better than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm satisfied with this particular dash cam. There are better versions from Nextbase but after researching, I didn't need any voice assistant versions. I like that the cam itself has a strong magnet to hold to the suction mount I use. I find it convenient to attach the cam via magnet and plug in the power. This takes 5 seconds at most. It has a simple push button under the screen to save the current clip being recorded. I've noticed it will auto save taking a corner a little fast but that's fine. The app is okay but I found it easier to use a multi card reader and view/delete files through Windows. 1080p at 60fps playback seems like it's less than advertised. I'll stick with Nextbase for the foreseeable furtue.

Dash for little cash
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty good clarity on the screen. Easy setup. App could be better but manageable. Wish it could use a bigger Microsd card. Overall was a great purchase I bought it on Black Friday for 109.

A few early problems
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has excellent quality for a dash cam. The main problem I have with it now is the extremely slow uploading of videos from the cam to your phone. The app will allow you to view a live stream from the cam to your phone but early on, the feed on the phone would freeze after about 15 seconds. One of their tech support people worked with me for weeks trying to solve the problem They even sent me a new SD card to replace the one I was using and that didn't work. Finally after a couple of app updates, the problem went away and it streams perfectly now. It could have been that the app had to catch up to Android 10 and it wasn't compatible at first. The video on the camera is excellent though for such a small footprint and it has an excellent field of view. I'm docking it one star for the slow uploads but other than that it could easily be a 5 star.

Nice wide angle lens on the camera.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to install as I used the suction cup mount so we can use it in different vehicles. Good camera with a wide-angle lens. I just wish it had a battery that could have this run wireless for short trips.

good camera - has pluses and minus
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is installed in a Hyundai Sonata (2016), with a low slope windshield. I had previously put a different camera in the car, (rexing), but it seemed to be interfering with the satellite radio, so I move the rexing to my car and got this instead. I prefer the rexing for the rear camera setup (a cable that allows me to run it all the way to the back of the car). The device has the rear camera attached, so it is almost more like a cabin camera. The Nextbase is WAY more user friendly and easy to use than the rexing. The rexing software is a PITA, whereas this connects to my phone for review of footage quite easily. Is it the best option? No. Is the Rexing? No. Is there a perfect solution? Not sure...but this gives me peace of mind.

Great video Quality, But!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Camera was working great until we had a hot day where I live. Had my Sunshade on my dash, but when I returned my dash cam was just beeping and wouldn’t come on. For some reason it cooked my SD card. I replaced my SD card but after re-installing and driving around for 15-20 minutes it froze up again. So now I’m working with tech support to see if I can get a replacement. We’ll see how that goes. Stay tuned.

Love It!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all I Love this! I've researched a few dashcams & like the idea the power goes into the mount & the camera is so easily removed just by a very strong magnet. This makes it easily removable to bring inside & hook it up to my computer. Love the GPS feature & the data can be removed from the video if needed. Also can send lower res videos to my phone but found out if you have more than one camera you have to completely disconnect from one to use the other for sending videos or viewing live but still love this camera!
