Am extra layer of of worryless have tje back of your vehicle as well as yours covered. On days in which the main cause of daralities are those caused during traffic accidenta, this little cameea has your nack covered for evential potential legal issues after a collision. I will also say your back is also covered if you get pulled over by Mr. bad intended officer because it records everything, it can tell if you committed or not wjatever is the reason they claims for their pull over.

This is good to have in your car, excellent quality image, good resolution, highly recommended.

The camera itself is great, but please do your research on the powering options before making the purchase. The dash cam and rear cam along with the hard wiring kit drained my car battery within one day. The cameras have been a hassle to use since installation.

Good angle of view and the cable is long enough to get comfortably routed through the trim to the front camera. A bit expensive for what it is - as you need the existing base to make it work.

excellent camera, worth the price. I connected this rear camera with the other NextBase front camera, and it worked flawlessly.

Initially worried about length of cable as I drive a crew cab pickup, however cable was more than adequate. Great all around quality.

Good rear camera, with a magnetic mount that allows for easy adjustments. Hardwired into the vehicle and main camera. One minor issue on this is that due to the wire being hidden under the headliner, the movement of the vehicle pulls the camera out of previous alignment on occasion. The magnet mount could be a bit stronger to prevent easy rotation. Not a deal breaker, just need to readjust now and then.

I bought this item as a package deal with the Nextbase 622 dashcam, memory card/case and the hardwire kit. I like that I can record the rear of my car and that it gets saved in to 2 different videos (1 front and 1 rear). The image is good, luckily I haven't had to use the rear videos. I try and review them to see if it can read plates, so far it has been able to if they are near the car.

Not a horrible dash cam only issues I’ve had with it is the front dash cam not recording and doing what it’s meant to do but the rear one is good has good quality

Four stars only because the wiring should be 2 to 3 feet longer to allow running it down along the floorboards then back up again. In a 2020 Kia Sorrento, I had to run it along the roofline where the airbags are located. But it is a nice addition to the dashcam especially when my backup cam is blocked by a bike hitch because it is high enough to point over the bikes so I can check it as a backup cam.

Very compact size. Cable seems long enough to install easily. Have not installed yet but will update the review Afterwards
