It's ok for the back as my 322 cam will only shoot it at 720P. But due to the lights at night and the weird light from the back window generally speaking Even during the day and this combo makes it not even close to as sharp as the front facing cam. But it gets the job done and gives a total wide view out the back I would give image quality 3 stars but setup and the magnetic mount impulses me to give it an extra to Nudge it to 4 stars. But I did expect a little better video quality regardless.

The camera seemed to be of good quality and design. We ended up exchanging it for the plug in, rear view telephoto module, because this one is foam tape mount only. I thought it would come with a suction cup mount, like the camera did, but it did not. I did not want an adhesive mount on my rear window's defrost grid, as any need to remove the adhesive in the future, could damage the grid.

Nice camera during the day drive. But since it is magnetic i have to always move it

I loved this very much it allowed for more area coverage of my in car camera system. I want to feel like I can replay and incident clearly. After being in a bad accident late 2019. I wanted to make sure that there would be no need to have to rely on police assumptions of and accident based on the location of cars. I am very satisfied and have recommended the system to multiple family members.

Small but very clear, easy to install, works excellently with dashcam

Very nice addition to my Dash Cam set up. Got it professionally installed by a local expert & hard wired the 522 to my ignition. Note that live view on the 522 doesn’t work with cellular data on (very annoying)!

I ordered this as an addition to my Nextbase 522GW dash cam. I wanted this so that I can get video in case of an accident or protection for myself and family in the event of a traffic stop. There was ample cord to run to the back of my truck and the double sided tape holds well. Image quality is pretty good also. No complaints so far.

Really recommend getting this to also record what happens behind your car. Easy to setup and install. It’s just as reliable as their dashcam.

The nextbase cameras are over priced for what you get as well as the app interface being really bad. Impossible to view recordings form your phone

I bought this camera to add to my Nextbase dash cam. This camera mounts to the back wind shield of your vehicle, you run the cable to the front of the vehicle, plug it into the front dash cam, and you are ready to go. Easy to install & use. It can be disconnected if you wish to remove the camera when the car is not in use.

I really like the rear dash cam view. It's a great add-on for the front facing cam and the clarity is amazing. It's always good to know what's going on behind you just in case anything happens or if you're doing any action sports.

Purchased this along with the Nextbase 622GW 4K dashcam and it works fine. The rear image displays on the main dashcam screen and blocks some of the view but I'm sure there's probably a way to disable that function. Anyway, good quality and works great so far.

The Nextbase rear window camera gives a full view of the road behind you. It was very easy to set up and plug into the Nextbase 422GW. Took around 10 mins to install. The picture on Best Buy’s website shows the Nextbase rear camera which is not the same as the rear window camera.

Love this when combined with my 622gw front camera. High quality image. Definitely recommend going fully wired for the install.

The module/rear camera works great. It took some time to determine how to run the wire to the rear of my Suburban. The video quality is good and is saved as a separate file on the MicroSD card.

I'm sure this is a good camera, but the main Nextbase dash cam it plugs into needs some updates. The dash cam doesn't accept an cabin rear facing camera in addition to this rear window mounted rear facing camera. I bought both the cabin and rear window version to get greater coverage without realizing the main Nextbase camera only accepts one or the other.

This is the add-on camera for my dash cam. It is easy to install and it can allow the DVR to record everything that is happening BEHIND your vehicle. It is well worth the investment, given the amount of insurance fraud that is now occurring.
