Bought this as I have all of the annual releases for the NHL games and so far I love it. They really have continued making this game more and more gorgeous as the years go on! Growing up a Blackhawks fan, I really wanted to finally see the "United Center" on the ice for home games, instead of "Chicago Stadium" and it finally happened! Might not be a big deal, but it's pretty nostalgic for me! Add on top of that hearing Chelsea Dagger actually play after every goal is pretty awesome, too!! And the goal horns are much more accurate this year! I've always loved the series, and this one is putting the cherry on top!

Hi, NHL 16 is awesome. The game play is realistic and I like that some of the players grow playoff beards. The morale of the player on franchise mode is semi-difficult, because sometimes you have to healthy scratch someone to play everybody and the player you scratch usually loses morale. You can also turn that mode off if it gets too irritating. I like season mode as well, because you can play as any team in the video game for a full season. Great game all around.

This game far surpasses last year's game! I like the change in gameplay and its a little more challenging to score unlike the same spots I could score almost every time in before. Goaltending is a little smarter. I've been playing this nonstop! Finally you can play regular season mode and you can do a fantasy draft as well. I will be playing this one for a long time!

After having this game 5 days since the release, I can honestly say that this game is absolute c rap. Absolutely hate it. The players move so slow when receiving the puck and dont grab the puck when it's right at their feet so it flies by and then an icing is called. The goalies are better than 15 no doubt but they're TO good. It's absolutely insane at how those goalies are making some of those saves. In a way that's good, but some of them are just absurd! The dekeing is all messed up compared to 15. The scoring........ absolute c rap. I feel like the only way you can score now is one timing it or hoping to god you get lucky. I can't even score on a breakaway anymore and it's just impossible! I even went to practice mode and that doesn't even matter. As of now(9/20/15) I am not happy with this game at all. (Had to put a space between c rap so it would allow me to post it :p)

Received this as a gift. This is by far the best NHL game to date from EA Sports. The way they are able to use the next-gen technology to make the game feel more real than every before is amazing. From the stick work to the passing off the boards, to the goaltending. All around just a great game.
