NHL 16 brings to the table all the features that were missing last year. This years game I feel is more well rounded and not just constant crazy hitting and bad physics. NHL 16 is definitely an improvement to the series and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a hockey game this year.

All i can say is finally NHL 16 gets a gold star for all of the changes.The game play is right on so easy with the PS4 controller and one thing that i give the edge to this version is because the controller does not vibrating during the game just how i want it.From the time i played that first game in the United Center and the crowd was chanting the "LETS GO HAWKS" to the first time i scored a goal and the goal horn finally sounded just the real one and if that was not enough the crowd started to sing the song that they do during a real game after a goal and that just blew me away and showed me just some little things that made it real.You also can finally edit each player and all the other options by far NHL 16 "ROCKS"

Glad to have more features such as EASHL back for this game. However game play is about the same as last year. But if you are a dedicated player who wants to play league play then it's worth the upgrade.

This is what NHL 15 should've been. NHL 16 picks up where NHL 14 left off and carries over all the the modes and gameplay into next gen consoles with improved graphics.

Great game. I'm a big fan of the Be a Pro mode, where you take over one character and build up your avatar into an all star all the way from the minors. I'm impressed that they have all the minor league affiliates as well as all the CHL and other Canadian league teams. Easy to pick up, hard to master. Different difficulties, plenty of modes. Most folks probably play in the online mode, I haven't done that. But I have done a few different modes and I like it a lot. Hockey, for me, is the easiest video game sport to get into. It moves constantly, lots of action. It's just very fun.

Not since NHL 09 has as much work and dedication been put in to the EA NHL game. Definitely fun to play online and u can try Hockey Ultimate Team if u like micro transactions

This is a typical EA sports game. They have no competition for a hockey game and it shows year in and year out with a mediocre product. The graphics are very nice and the gameplay is garbage. I'm not sure why there are strategies when all the computer players just chase the player with the puck like a bunch of squirts leaving the slot wide open open all the time. It's so easy to score it's ridiculous.

This game is very realistic from the graphics to the commentators. Lots of fun for the whole family.

They did better on this one. I have had this game for a while and it is way better than last years game. They brought back season mode and some other features that were missing which is good. Adding mascots to this years game was another feature that I enjoy it adds that touch to this game to feel like your at the arena. The arenas and player likeness are top notch and seem to get better with every release of the EA series.

Really cool game...looks like a real game. Kids love it!

From last year's fiasco I would recommend this game.

I've put about 15 hours into the game; I've dabbled in Be a Pro and spent a bulk of my time in Be a GM. Visually the game play is impressive on the PS4 vs my last game on PS3 ('12), the on-ice trainer is a nice feature. I haven't gotten a true feel for how the off-ice portion of Be a Pro works. Many qualms with Be a GM, it seems like this wasn't proofed at all. It's aggravating how many times you have to hit buttons to load screens, editing lines can be a huge pain. All new contracts default to 1-way so you're prone to lose players to waivers. Just a significant disappoint, especially after reading real positive reviews from most publications. Seems like a step backward from my last game and I would think in 3 years they could put out a product that's better more than just visually.

NHL 14 was one of the biggest disappointments I've ever played. NHL 15 managed to fix some of those problems to make it worth owning, but it pails in comparison to the NHL 09-13 games.

Somewhat the same as last year, but some additions such as a better motion control!

This game is among the best of all sports fames. A must have game.

Worst gameplay ever for the ea series. You cannot pass to anyone....slow offensive movements....no deking. The last three years were much better than this one. Do not buy....waste of your time and money

Bought this as a gift for my husband...he loves it!

The is the first NHL game of the new consoles that has been up to par as far as expectations go. It still needs to be improved some, but it doesn't feel that there are any missing parts, like NHL 15 did
