What a fun game. I got it because my favorite team the Tampa Bay Lightening. The family will love to play this one.

This series has been a long time favorite in my house. This, in my opinion, is one of the best sports games out there.

This NHL has to be the best one yet, only thing I would like is if I can play a regular game with friends online.

Bought for my 10 year old son. HE LOVES this game. The best feature is that he can create his own character.

No negative comments from my son so I can only determine he likes this game. And being a used game he must not be having any issues playing it or I would have heard about them.

I purchase the NHL games for one reason only, EA Sports Hockey League. I have been a fan of EA Sports Hockey League since its introduction and did not purchase NHL 15 because it lacked this game mode. Every year I payed in EASHL from NHL 11 through NHL14, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with minimal complaints. Then, after not purchasing NHL 15, EASHL returned in NHL 16. However, my excitement for the mode's returns was dashed quickly when I saw how heavily abused the "left to right skating" wrist shot was and how poorly the goaltenders reacted to it. I found the programming error to be an inexcusable flaw and it severely impacted my enjoyment of NHL 16. In NHL 17, not only does this shot still work, but it works on ever worse shooting angles. On top of this, CPU's are constantly scoring on their own nets and very poor, weak, and unscreened shots from obscene angles and distances somehow find the back of the net. Such goals are so characteristic of NHL 17 that many of my friends decided not to purchase the game after playing the beta. Holding out hope that these things could be fixed, I decided to purchase the game anyway and really wish I hadn't. As of the time this review was typed there has not been a single gameplay update in the month since the game has been released and my experience has been just as awful as it was during the beta. I would have rated NHL 11-14 all four or five stars and NHL 16 three stars. This year's installment is easily the worst of those I have played and were it not for all of the added customization in EASHL, I would have rated this game a one.

Game is so fun they fixed a lot of the online issues from NHL 16 as well def a must buy for hockey fans

EA put in another entry to the NHL series and this year they really just updated the roster and didn't really do much with the gameplay or the graphics. I was a little disappointed I really wish that they would work harder each year to make a new game instead of just putting different names on the back of jerseys. It does look good and it does play good but if you have last year's entry you really don't need this one.

this is a nice update to the NHL franchise. I primarily bought this to have the physical cover though.

EA Sports" tweaks from previous versions of the NHL game has made one of our favorites even better.

The new Draft Champions mode introduces the fantasy draft with fast rounds of superstar picks.

I like the game. However I wish it was easier to navigate and switch to split screen like in 2012.

My son received this game for his birthday. He loves it. I have to set a timer to limit his time.

Welcome back the EASHL component which enhances the online gaming experience. Simplified and pre-made character builds makes the game more fair to all than in past years.

4/5 stars because the game overall is fun for EASHL. Poke-checking, AI intelligence, "cheese shots", among other anomalies need to be addressed and fixed. HUT is broken.

Great game year in and year out. Always know you are going to get a good product from EA with NHL.

Another solid game from EA Sports. Great in-game features that will keep you playing for hours.

Bought this for my son he loves hockey and really enjoys playing this game.

bought as a Christmas present - who knows? This thing may suck. Guess we'll find out tomorrow

As an avid hockey fan, I highly recommend NHL 17. EA Sports always puts out a great product.
