After being away from the NHL games for years I can't believe what I've been missing. The gameplay is so much more fun than slower games like the NBA and MLB. The checking makes it a lot of fun too. I am shocked at how far these games have come since the days of NHL 94.

Nhl 19 is the best version of the yearly EA sports series to date. The graphics have improved and the world of chel mode provides something for everyone. I strongly recommend this game for seasoned veterans of the game and for new players looking to get their Nhl fix.

EA pumps out 2 awesome sports games a year: FIFA and NHL. This years NHL totally brought the goods. Crazy detailed and GM mode is awesome too. Even if you're not a huge fan of hockey, you'll have a blast playing it!

The upgraded skating and collision system in this version is awesome. There is even more stuff to do in EASHL and HUT is still fun. The connection issues that I heard from others are definitely there and I have take losses in Club games because we all get booted randomly yet no one goes offline so just beware of that occasional problem that is still ongoing.

Hadn't bought an NHL game in several years due to the lack of improvement from year to year. This year's entry is fantastic, love the new physics engine. NHL threes is a fun arcade style addition and the be a pro mode is still the best in my mind.

Game played well....it was fun and the controls were outstanding.

The game play is so realistic and the game keeps getting faster and faster every year feels like your actually skating. This is the ultimate multi player game. So much fun can't put the controller down. If it's in the game it's in this game.

The game itself is a great game. The outdoor play added this year is a fun new style. But when playing the regular gameplay, it looks, sounds, and feels the same as the last couple years. If you’ve never played an nhl game before this game is gonna be AMAZING. If you’re like me, the only real advantage is the updated rosters.

First NHL I had bought in a quite a while. I really like the training session at the beginning to re-learn the controls & changes. Works great with my new PS4.

This years EA Hockey is a big improvement over last years. I buy this game every year and sometimes don’t see big changes, but this game stays true to the fundamentals but adds some nice new features. Highly recommended.

This is probably the best EA NHL game to date on the PS4. It's far from perfect but darn good. I play franchise so I don't get into any other aspects of the game. Look around the net for so called pro reviews so you can make a decision for yourself. I got this for $25.00 so it was well worth that price.

Bought this for my son for his birthday - he plays online with a friend who is a great hockey player himself in real life. They get the new version every year to play against each other, and never tire of it!

My son has definitely gravitated toward the sports games on PS4 and had to round out his collection with NHL 19. It's as fun as you'd expect from EA Sports and I would definitely recommend it.

This game finally got it right for me when you set up in the authentic zone and you're passing from point to point pyre to prior to the shot. And the patch for actual player speed seperation is on point

I'm a diehard hockey fan so I usually pick up the NHL game each year so I can play online with friends. Skating feels better and some of the new online features are solid. But in all honesty the game isn't a massive difference from the last few years. So for the casual fans it might be a letdown.

I’m enjoying NHL 19 so far, it seems a bit harder to score with two on one breakaways and it’s easy for the opposing player to steal the puck while playing online. It could just be my skill level but they definitely made it more challenging. As oppose to last years version it is a vast improvement

As someone who never really followed hockey, NHL 19 taught me the basics of the game as well as provided fun gameplay and an in-depth franchise mode (much more so compared to Madden 19).

Action -- many fun options. My son learned to play hockey with NHL Playstation. He still hones his skills using this incredibly technical game. I can hardly ever beat him -but we have a great time.
