    I’m still growing as a hockey fan, so I’m not an expert in the game’s intricacies in real life, let alone a video game that a child could decisively beat me in. With that being said…I love this game! The controller shot/pass options have been difficult to adapt to (passing/changing men with the “R” button, etc). The visual gameplay itself is fantastic. Game is very fun and I look forward to getting better at it. This is my 4th hockey game for PS and by far my favorite.

    I have all the EA hockey games and this one is the worst one that they've ever come out with. They've taken away almost all ability to control your player or check the other players. I think they've gone woke and don't want anything remotely rough in the game. The marker to tell which player you are is thin and faint and often hard to see. The woman announcer is obnoxious and horrific to listen to. They should have to pay you to take this game.

    Very upset as nhl 23 and 24 controls were changed from previous nhl games. My son is not able to play either of them as he only has one hand. NHL 23 and 24 require 2 hands to play the game. I was told I couldn’t return it for my money back when I have proof right here that I purchased it from Best Buy. You lost a customer for sure!

    We have played this game non stop. It has been fun to absolutely destroy my son in the game. Graphics and game play is great. Super fun game

    This was a gift for my 13 year old son and he absolutely loves it! He says all of the special features, add ons and graphics are awesome!

    The game every year is very good. People complain that the game is too similar to previous versions but I don’t know what else EA Sports could do to make the game more realistic. It’s a game I will buy every year.

    New controls, no more NHL94 style shooting or passing, Those who like that setup will need to practice before you play online to get used to new controls.
