    Solid hockey simulator, would have preferred more robust team/stadium creator or a larger selection of non pro teams (no teams from the upper Midwest, seems odd). Otherwise feels like a well made sim.

    Game is cool - sucks that they took away the NHL 94 controls. Forcing you to use the new combos. Hard to play. Don’t like it. Won’t buy unless they bring the option back.

    Got this for my son for Christmas and he's been hooked since, the graphics are great and the controls are smooth. There is the occasional glitch, but that is to come when you play any game for a while. Very satisfied with the game overall.

    It actually feels like they were trying to improve this game they made a few improvements. They change the way hitting works, they added a stamina bar that you can see, and now you can hit players with different checks. Now if you’re in the zone for a time, you start building zone pressure, which increases your chances of scoring. They also added this new control scheme that lets you do the hard moves with one button press, but they removed the other controls—hybrid and 94–. Some of the other modes like be a pro have changed but the rest is relatively unchanged. I gave a really harsh review for 23 but it actually feels like they’re trying with this one.

    Game looks amazing on our 85" 4ktv. The detail is unbelievable. Sounds are great as well as gameplay. Shooting can take some getting used to, but once you figure it out, it makes a lot of sense and it's pretty intuitive.

    Menus are limited and frustrating to scroll thru, game play is fast paced but the controls dont always do what its supposed to do.
