I picked this game up at the end of the PS3 lifespan and never got around to playing it. PS3 is long gone so it's nice to experience it now on the switch.

If you like Studio Ghibli you'll love this game. One of the only video games Ghibli has helped with.

Studio Ghibli's involvement has elevated this game to instant classic status. There is even a Pokemon type element to the game. Highly recommended!

A beautifully animated JRPG with a wonderfully whimsical story. If you love animated movies like Totoro and Ponyo, you're in for a real treat.

Ni No Kuni isn't a perfect RPG, but it's a dang good one. The game is held together by absolutely gorgeous art from Studio Ghibli, taking an otherwise decent RPG to an entirely new level by infusing it with character and charm. A must-own for any JRPG fans.

Well ported, English or Japanese voices, unique fantastic graphics and a solid storyline makes this one of the best RPGs around.

Played this game on the PS3, bought it to finish it this time! The game is truly inspired by Studio Ghibli and the level of detail is in every single frame. It is exactly like an interactive Miyazaki film, with the exception of the world map which is nice in its own way but about the only thing that you would not find straight from the film. Thankfully you (or at least I did not), spend too much time in the world map area unless I was traveling from point A to B, or farming some new companions.

Such a great simple, but highly addictive game that will make you play from start to finish
