Great game. You have to play the story multiple times and get different endings to get to the real ending E. The duplicate playthrough is only about 3 hours or so. All the other playthroughs unlock new story and missions so you are not playing the same thing over and over again. Although there are lots of mini-game components that I was not a fan of but they are part of the story so are bearable.

It's basically just the regular version of the game+the DLC+the original pre-order stuff from when the game originally came out. So you don't really save anything (retail for base is $30, DLC is $10, this is $40) and the DLC is a code, not a disc. Still, game is great, but only buy this if you want the game and not for this particular version. Boxart is great though and it's reversible.

I absolutely love this game,it is a challenging game at first because game saves are far apart and few,it is unlike any video game I’ve ever played before but very beautiful

It's easily one of the best games of the generation and a must play for any console owner. Make sure you don't quit playing after the first time you get the credits, as you still have a long way to go.

Since FF is dead, and youre an adult, che k out Nier. A nihilistic journey through an existentialist nightmare. The best thing out of Square in decades.

Awesome action rpg. If your a fan of platinum games, look no further. Fantastic game with lots of RPG action elements mixed into together. The music is amazing, story is so so but the game is very good

I'm just gonna be straight here - If you are unsure about the story, gameplay or even if you should pick this game up later, I say DON'T. As of what I know, this is the most definitive version of this game and is a masterpiece to own on the PS4. It is one of, if not my favorite game on my PS4. From every little detail that Square and Yoko Taro put into the game, it is a game that shouldn't be ignored. It's so good that I would even go as far as to say that it seems like the game of the decade. Multiple endings, the soundtrack is phenomenal, multiple characters, and this is only some of the highlights. Please, if you are unsure if you should give this game a try, do it because it is a game that has so much to it to the very end.

This game is incredibly unique. While I'm new to the Nier/Drakengard universes, even as a standalone entry, this title accomplishes a lot. While on the surface it appears to rely heavily on fast-paced action anime tropes and stylizations (of which there are certainly plenty, don't get me wrong), the game upholds a dystopian setting and themes with aplomb, bringing questions of humanity, free will, and personal meaning in one's life front and center in its incredibly unique manner of storytelling, such that I found myself freely crying during the game's true ending in light of what that ending conveys about the connections we can make with others. Highly recommended!

My type of RPG! The story, action, and drama are a combination of elements I like.

I bought this game for the graphics. The different difficulty modes were a factor in my decision to purchase the game. The recent additional items, such as skins, in the Game if the YoRHa edition are a bonus. Great game.

Excellent game and very enjoyable. Get this game and please keep playing after you "beat" it for the first time. This game has multiple endings and requires several playthroughs to experience the full game.

This is one of my favorite games I have played this year with a compelling story and well written characters, as well as a fun combat system that is easy to pick up.

I was not expecting to like this game as much as I did. The multiple endings requiring multiple playthroughs can be a bit daunting at first, but it's not bad and the pay off in the end is worth it.

One of the best games of the generation. An engrossing story, haunting music, and great gameplay. If you haven't played Nier: Automata, put it on the top of your list.

I'm only leaving a lower rating review because of the state of the physical disc I received. I've already owned and played this game on a digital format but wanted a physical version for my collection. However, when attempting to install the game onto my PS5, it would display an error code and halt the install entirely. I attempted all sorts of troubleshooting but none of it worked. And when I attempted to swap the game out for another one, they told me it was out of stock and they were unable to give me a replacement. It was only $8, and as I said, I own the game digitally elsewhere, but this was a letdown for sure. Good game if you haven't played it, but the disc unfortunately just did not work.

One of the best games of this console generation. Stylish, fun combat with memorable characters and an introspective story. Recommended for anyone who likes hack and slash games and beautiful graphics.

This PlayStation 4 Nier Automata game is very good. I purchased both PlayStation 4 Nier Automata games and love them both. I would recommend both of these games.

Very enjoyable game with quick, responsive hack and slash action and the occasional shmup thrown in. You'll want to keep playing through to get all the endings, the game isn't over when you see the credits.

Combat is fast, fluid, and fun. The open world is incredible and full of mystery and unique locations. Insane replayability and multiple endings that are worth seeking out.
