Good looking graphics great story line. Plenty of action to go around.

The learning curve is fairly low, but the game turns up the heat as you progress and turn the difficulty up. It’s more fun than you would, great buy.

The summary explains it all (sorry Horizon!). The most insane hybrid of a game I've played in years - post-apocalyptic 3rd person action, rpg, shmup, and top-down puzzles. Nier tells a story about what it means to be human, and the blurred lines between technology and personhood. The saving mechanics are a little wonky - no auto-save, so make SURE to save your game in each zone!!!

This game is definitely under-appreciated. I didn't even know/hear about it until a friend of mine started raving about it. Gameplay is similar in pace to that of Devil May Cry. Graphics are gorgeous and the story overall is bazaar but entertaining nonetheless. Overall I enjoyed this game and I would highly recommend it! Most of Square Enix games are great and this is one of them.

great gameplay, story, music. kept me interested to play through all endings

I didn't know what to expect from the game, other than knowing that there were good reviews and it was on sale when I purchased it. As I was playing it, I couldn't put it down because the gameplay was so fun and the story was compelling and interesting. I unlocked all the endings at about 30 hours of playtime. It's one of the best games I played in 2017, hands down.

This game has been one of the most original and absolutely strange games of all time. Statisfying story and mechanics make this game a blast.

This title is very very Japanese and that is a great thing! It is one of the most bizarre worlds I have ever visited in a game and I love it. The game play seamlessly blends a variety of genres such as side scrolling platformer, top down shooter and hack and slash. The story is fantastic and the graphics look amazing. This is a truly unique and very special title.

A total departure from the first game, but this game has nice gameplay changes throughout the game keeping you interested as you go along.

Fantastic game, albeit a bit too anime at points. Played through and got all 5 main endings in a week because it just wouldn't let me go.

I wasn't sure if I made the right decision in buying this game after I put the game disc into my ps4. The graphics aren't good even by ps3 standards. But, the combat is fun and fluid, and the story--though bizarre--is bizarre in a good way. Make sure you don't stop after reaching the first ending. The game's story is only just getting warmed up at that point.

The gameplay is great and the story is interesting. I progressed too fast somehow and now get oneshotted by everything. Well it is either that or I am trash.

The game is a very fun, great action game, has some bullet H--L aspects, I know what sounds odd but it all works very well together.
