Finally the sequel to the last gen console hidden gem. THis wonderful action game expands on the series and is far superior to the last entry.

I love the combat, the boss fights, the universe, the ridiculously cheesy dialogue... Everything in this game has charm and is very satisfying. For me, the minutia of side-quests and trying to progress the story slow the game down, which is a bummer. 8.5/10, really good.

Nier: Automata is a really good game with a deep story and constantly changing mechanics. You could be hacking and slashing for a mission and moving to an old school vertical shooter the next back to a side scrolling beat em up. This is definitely one to keep an eye on.

From the creators of Bayonetta, they create another masterpiece. Controls are fluid and combat is crisp. Do yourself a favor and buy this already.

The game steps out of it's traditional boundary with over the top hack and slash gameplay and fantastic soundtrack.
