This game really is special and a gamers game. Everything is deep, the story gameplay, play style. Its a rare type of game.

This is a great game for anyone who like action rpg elements. Many hours of gameplay and many different endings to explore.

This game is awesome. I enjoy the base somewhat in RPG while being and action game as well. It is not turn based and is more of an open world style that forces you along certain paths, but you can go back and replay for better score or to get more materials for leveling up. I also like you are aided by a flying robot that you can control while fighting one foe and it can target another. This game is easy enough for beginners and also has a level of complexity for more skilled gamers.

One of the best action games i've played with an awesome story though multiple playthroughs and tons of endings. 10/10

I bought this game only because I listened to the soundtrack one weekend. The game play is amazing and so is the story.

As someone who primarily buys digital copies of games, I'll only purchase a game when there's some bonus content for buying a physical copy. No need to worry about that in Nier Automata! All that's included in the box is a reversible cover (looks much better than the regular one) and some codes for cosmetic items that you will barely notice. I bought a physical copy for the Best Buy Gamers Club discount, but there's nothing special in the box if you don't have that discount.

For an RPG, this game plays really well. The idea behind the story is awesome and it's truly a memorable game to play.

So far Nier has been pretty good. Graphics could be better, but gameplay is quick and story is solid. Intro level is pretty demanding, so don't get discouraged and lower difficulty if you need to for the beginning part.

I picked this game up based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and I feel like I'm missing something. The colors are boring, the combat is simple and has been done far better in other games, and the graphics are just not on par with the current titles. The fact that most of the dialog takes place through text and not voice acting seems like someone is playing a prank in 2017. Yes, I'm not normally a JRPG gamer, but why, on a full $60 game, am I'm reading text while talking to a bobbing statue? Lastly, what is with games changing the screen to a distorted black and white while blaring a constant alarm when your health gets low? This isn't a game where health is always just a few clicks away. You sometimes have to look for it and playing the game with this sensory overload just made me want to shut it off. I just don't get game reviews sometimes. Anyway, just know that this game has a ton of setbacks, though it can be fun and engaging.
