I picked up this game after reading many best of 2017 lists and this game did not disappoint. This game packs so many different styles in to one game, from hack and slash to side scrolling space shooter. The story is also incredibly deep and moving. Who thought machines could give you the feels? If you are looking for an incredible game with an amazing story and characters, do not pass on this game!

Nier Automata is a great, fast paced action game with a BEAUTIFUL soundtrack.

I'm a huge fan of Nier Automata. It is a very unique game in terms of storyline and gameplay. The boss battles are simply epic and the gameplay is top notch. Platinum makes some of the best action games out there and this is no exception. I'm so glad I purchased a PS4 as this appears to be an exclusive. Definitely pick this up if you like action games like DMC, Bayonetta, MG Rising, Vanquish, God of War, etc.

From gameplay to story and even dephs when it comes to exploration. Different endings and fluidity of it all. It's a must play. However if I didn't like MGS Revengeance you won't like this one.

...brought to light through the most enjoyably emotionally masochistic story I have come across in a long time. This game will make you feel good on your first play through and progressively make you feel worse as you play the game from other angles. The real trick is, the worse I felt, the more I was enjoying myself. A must buy for anyone looking for a good narrative in their action rpg.

Gameplay is overall great, exploration, enemies, level design, etc. Music is awesome. Only cons are that some of the mini-games are annoying and graphics are repetitive in a lot of places.

The combat is great and the weapon upgrades are pretty cool. Story overall is engaging.
