Came out of nowhere for me - great story with solid combat

Fast pace action, great story, I really enjoyed this game.

This game has a wonderful story and fast paced action.

The characters and story in the NieR universe are really interesting and it makes you think. Plenty to get out of this game.

I think this game deserves alot more attention than it has received... I feel liken it went under the radar a but because of all the other great game releases but this game is awesome, reminds me of a tomb raider mixed with horizon mixed with something totally new lol watch some walkthroughs of the game, don't take my word for it..

An excellent game with a deep story and addicting gameplay!

seriously, even if you don't particularly like shooty slashy games get it for the story and universe. and if you're coming off of dark souls there's an expert mode where all the enemies one shot you that does very nicely. I spent a week trying to get past the first boss and let me tell you I reached enlightenment by the end.

Interesting story and concept. Fun gameplay as well.

I had some reservations about picking up this game, but the reviews online said it was great so I took a chance. Boy am I glad I did! It's similar to Devil May Cry or Bayonetta in regards to gameplay, is well written, and has incredible graphics. If you're a fan of engaging action combat games, don't hesitate. Pick Nier right away.

Pretty great game to play with good story and gameplay

This game simply breaks the mold. From it's visuals, to the story it tells and how it tells it, this game is a knock out. The journey the main character takes you on is an amazing one. I'm jealous of anyone who get's to experience this game for the first time. Hundreds of hours of gameplay, that's both fun and exciting.

This game is not your average action rpg. It mixes side scrolling shooter, to combat, to platforming, and with multiple endings forcing you to play as the other characters in a different perspective. Speaking to the combat it's super smooth. Just works. If you are tired of the same ol same ol pick this one up you won't regret it.

This game offers an open world RPG with great mechanics and story. The game camera angles switches the gameplay up. Sometimes you it will be like a classic 2D arcade game, and then switched to a 3D view during fights. The graphics are beautiful and the performance is enhanced if you have a PS4 Pro. Highly recommend this game.

Blew away my expectations. Great gameplay and story!

The word masterpiece has been thrown around a lot the last few months. With the likes of Zelda & Horizon. None of those games do anything remotely profound like Nier:Automata. Most of you will never play this game. The few of you that do probably won't like it as much as I do. I'm okay with that. I just hope you try it out.

A very fast-paced action game with an amazing story. It can be pretty bleak at times so be emotionally ready for it.
