Nier is an excellent RPG. Multiple playthroughs with a unique battle system and a variety of different activities.

Graphics are good (anime like), the story is quite enjoyable reminds me of the matrix (the first movie the good one) mixed with i-robot.

Nier: Automata is a pretty neat game that is set in the world of the original. If you haven't played the original, you're okay, as there isn't a whole lot that makes a difference. It's developed by Platinum, which turn out great games like Bayonetta and Vanquish. If you're into good action games, give this one a try.

This game is gonna go down in history and only get harder to find. its like 6 games in one and theres nothing like it today.

barely on my first run of this game, but so far this game is really fun. sort of reminds me of ninja gaiden.

If you played Nier in 2010, this game is for you. It's got a lot of the same mechanics, but the combat is better. The story is extremely interesting, if a bit convoluted and "anime." I happen to enjoy that, but I could imagine that some people wouldn't. I will say this: The first hour of the game is the hardest part, by far, and you can't save during this part. If you need to, just put the difficulty down to easy for that section. I highly suggest turning it back up to normal afterwards, though. I'm pretty bad at action games, but after the first section, I didn't really have any problems whatsoever. I think I've died twice in the first 10 hours of the game, both times because I wasn't paying attention to my health and didn't heal. In the 20 hours of game after that, I doubt I've EVER gotten below half health, even when playing nigh-suicidally. If you like games where you run around slashing at things with a sword, collecting quests, and slowly learning more about the Confusing Reasons Why Things Are Happening, this game is for you. Buy it.

2017 is loaded with great games. Nier may be the best of them all. Definitely a Game Of The Year contender.

The use of indirect narrative exploration make for an intriguing experience. The story matches the depth that the player is willing to question it. Combat is satisfying, and mildly reminiscent of Bayonetta. There were some minor performance hitches, but not enough to detract from the experience.

This game is really well done i love the story the graphics are fantastic, and the combat is challenging enough.

This is now one of my favorite games. The game play and action are great. Plus I like the unique way this game handles and even encourages repeat play. The side missions are interesting and never feel repetitive. I have really enjoyed this game and would like to see others like it. Definitely Buy this game.

This game is developed by the folks who created Bayonetta and it shows. It takes the weirdness that is Nier with all its different mechanics and offbeat story and fixed the one thing that was lacking in the original: the combat. It's basically the perfect package now and I can't recommend it enough.
