    Great game. Story is a bit silly for those of us who know God (the game posits the question of His nonexistence and/or cruelty) in the intro, but the game is a throwback to better days during the PS2 era.

    As with most Nier games, there are lots of endings and interesting plot developments throughout the main story. The combat looks cool, but is a bit shallow compared to other titles by Platinum Games.

    Personally this game was highly entertaining, only marred by the presence of gratuitous nudity. Not only distracting, its an embarrassment to play with others present, something I like to do. -1 star
