Overall Not To Bad…

My old analog camera finally died (after 9 years in service) and I need something quick. Best Buy had this in store so I took the chance. Installing these is really simple. Plug the NVR in and download the app to your phone. Within 25 minutes or so, I had all 4 up and running. Just be sure you have space for the power adapter wherever your plugging these in. It’s not small and takes up space. Make sure you try and place the NVR centrally to the cameras. Line of sight is critically important with these! The phone app (iPhone 13 Pro Max) is not great. You have to expect a delay but sometimes my cameras won’t even show up, even though they are fully functional on the NVR. So I rarely use the phone app which stinks, because it would have been helpful. Recorded video is on par for the price point. It says 4K but it looks more like a 2K image. I knew going in I wasn’t going to get a true 4K recorded video.. I have the NVR set to continually record as well. The two way audio isn’t clear but it does and can act as a deterrent if I need it to be. Overall I’m not blown away, but I won’t be returning it. I’ll most likely use it to monitor my motorcycle garage and replacing these with a wired IP system.

Packaging Description of Products lacks clarity

This product doesn't describe its Wi-Fi accessibly well. I think this product did not work as I had intended however, I remain not completely sure and didn't want to get stuck with a unusable product for my needs. It was returned unopened.

Posted .Thank you for your review and sorry to hear of the issue you are facing. Our system is a Wi-Fi system that leverages wireless connections from the cameras to the recorder. You can also add a monitor directly to the recorder to locally view via HDMI output. That output can also be plugged into a computer if your computer allows for input of video signal. Otherwise your system must be logged in to the app to view as is the case with systems in our industry. You are free to return your purchase as long as it is in returnable condition within your retailers return window.

Not too great

I never get recordings when anyone comes to my house and all the settings are turned on. I feel the price should match the quality of the software.

Terrible product..

There is a sound recording, but the image freezes while watching. no audio transmission! Worst camera you can buy at this price!
