    Everything was great until they were installed outside. Now the cameras won’t quit informing me of a human presence that is only a bug flying. A car that is parked. There is no sensitivity or adjustment for the sensors. Very poor quality. I do not recommend this product

    I like this set-up very much and I am looking to expand adding 4 more cameras. Being able to view from anywhere without a subscription is great

    The range isn’t great you have to buy an extender, the front camera was only 30 ft from the receiver and it kept going in and out. The signal couldn’t go through the walls i guess into my room where it was. I had a cheaper unit before that worked fine I’m just going back to that.

    Purchased Nov ‘22. In a year of ownership these have been a major let down. Poor connectivity across a 3500 sq ft home. Even cameras 20ft away drop connection frequently. App is unreliable.

    I ordered online and it was supposed to be new. I opened the top of the box to find out it was not new. all the interior boxes holding the camera's and plugs and NVR had already been opened. I called and they gave me a discount. Unfortunately, once a Night Owl product is paired with the night owl app and not removed, it is not able to pair again and you cannot add it to your night owl app account. I called Night Owl and they stated that there is no way that I will be able to use this set as it was used. I would either have to return it to Best Buy or open a ticket and send the set into them to be refurbished. I returned it to Best Buy and informed them. Not sure if they listened, or cared.

    Everything works great. Easy install. The talk feature does not work. Been waiting for Night Hawk customer service to respond. Been over about a month now with now response. Otherwise, would have been 5 stars.

    At first this seems like a great alternative to a wireless rechargeable camera, but the truth is its more trouble than its worth. First of all to view your cameras live the receiver box has to be connected with an ethernet cable. That is a big down side. 2nd nightowl clams these cameras are 4k. The quality is definitely better than average, but they aren't anywhere near 4k. 3rd when viewing the live feed there is about a 10 second delay. I've had a cheap 50 dollar wireless camera that is better than this. The 2 way audio does not work. The wireless range of the cameras is horrible and paired with the limited range of the receiver because it has to be plugged into the router it just doesn't work unless the cameras are relatively close to the box. Save your money and buy something different

    Great clarity and ease of setup. Able to connection from further distances when there is no metal roof to go through. Some issues with mobile app not always wanting to connect but product itself is great.

    Pros: -Video quality is good. Cons: -The adapter/plug design is terrible, and makes it impossible to plug into outdoor outlets without additional accessories. -App is clunky and hard to figure out. Could be my incompetence, but that makes it not so user friendly at the very least. -One of the cameras has stopped working, in just over a month. Within the return window, but not fun to remove 4 cameras which have been wired and installed.

    Easy installation and setup. Had all four cameras up and running in about 2 hours. So far I have no complaints. Does have a little lag. Works as advertised.

    Night Owl 4k BTWN8 System

    The Night Owl is awesome. I like that I don’t have to pay to view my vidoes. The 4x 4k cameras were easy to install around the house and came with hardware. I’m having some problems with one camera because its located outside but I bought the extender for the antenna and everything is working great. I like the ease of viewing my cameras from anywhere on my phone. The system itself is great and the 4K just makes it more awesome.

    The installation was easy, and everything is working well. I used this system to replace my old night owl system. The 4K cameras are much better than my old ones. I wish I had bought the 8-camera system. Instead, I'll be buying two more cameras to add to this system as soon as they are available. I got the 4-camera system on sale for a good price.
