Decent system.

Gave qr code to scan but didnt seem to work. Had to look up all my information and manually input it. Took me 4 days to figure out!! If i had to do it over again. I would probably buy the hd system just for a little better picture. This one is not bad but everything could always be better!!

Good for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this system for my home so that I can access the camera from my phone from anywhere. I installed myself and its about a 4-8 hour process depending on the size of property and location of the cameras. Its great to access on my phone but the app will eat both your data and battery EXTREMELY fast.

Posted .If you are not connected to WiFi when viewing then yes, viewing the system will consume data. Additionally, viewing for extended periods of time will consume battery. To reduce the consumption of both, Night Owl recommends setting up motion activated push notifications on your system so that you will receive a picture message when your camera detects something. Doing this will save on your data when not connected to WiFi and save your battery.

Half The System Worked
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After several months of frustration dealing with another brand, I decided to give this product a try. Mistake! Only seven of the twelve cameras worked. The chat with Tech Support was a joke. I mean, come on; fresh out of the box and half the system doesn't function? By the way, I am an Electrician, so the most obvious trouble spots (connections) are double-checked at installation. Back to the store this one went, too...swapped for another brand.

Posted .Good Afternoon. Very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with our company. On the rare occasion that a product is defective out of the box, as occasionally products are damaged during transport, our team issues an RMA and the product is immediately replaced. I'm not certain if there were complications or miscommunications regarding this process, but i do apologize you had the experience you did.
