    Very nice set of cameras wish I had known that if you want continuous recording don’t buy the battery ones don’t last long other than that I think it’s a great value

    Many problems. The battery life is a straight manipulation lie. It needs 4 batteries and it only comes with 2. The other 2 are supplemental but that’s how one gets some life out of the charge. You have to recharge them numerous times, about once every two weeks….. sometimes, it just plain old doesn’t work. User interface is easy, but some functions are missing that should be really simple. Not worth your money as it won’t meet your expectations.

    HUB DOES NOT SEND NOTIFICATIONS

    When using cameras without the hub, i am sent notifications consistently. When using cameras with the hub I no longer get notifications. Tech support keeps telling me to do the same song and dance to the app, cameras, and hub. nothing fixes this issue.

    System Does Not Retain Recordings Past Midnight

    The hub and cameras we purchased appear to work, but do not retain recordings past the previous midnight. Once the clock turns to midnight, all previous recordings are purged from the system. We have been troubleshooting the hub and cameras through Night Owl support for nearly 1 month. We have completely removed and reinstalled the app, the hub, and all cameras 3 times. At this point I have to conclude that the Night Owl system (or at least the hub and cameras that I have) are incapable of retaining camera recordings for dates prior to the previous midnight. A security system that cannot retain recordings is useless.
