    This system is horrible, it keeps sending me notifications. When I go to view the video it the me no video. My system come on for a few minutes and then goes out. I can’t see anything that goes on.

    Not a good system , very big lagging on live streaming on PC and Mobile , unable to watch the recorded video online , all video can be watched only through the device itself.

    I bought this wireless system because I didn't want to run so many wires on a rental home but wanted an actual security system. So here is a quick run down. Setup of the main box and account setup: easy/moderate. I had a small issue (username is admin, just a heads up) and contacted the company....well they didn't get back to me until about 38 hrs later... Camera setup: moderate. You need to make sure you have a ac outlet close by to plug the cameras in. The cord is only 9ft so lay out where you want before you install and also make sure you check to see if the antenna on the camera will fit where you are mounting the camera. If you try moving the camera view to the left (your right when looking at the camera) the antenna keeps it from moving far enough because it sticks out and hits the mount. So limited viewing if positioning it to the side with the antenna. Video quality: Daylight, Amazing! Clear as day! Can see a bird on my lawn no problem. Night time: Pretty good. Just about the same with any camera in night viewing. Motion alert and 2 way: Great. You can set you motion areas where you want it to sense motion. Picked up a squirrel approaching my front door and for the sound, I could hear birds chirping and the ice cream man 2 blocks over. Now here is something that made this purchase not suitable for me.....playback Playback: Viewing it from the 1tb storage at home, absolutely great!! Viewing it from your phone while at work or even at home: absolute worst! Takes forever to load and that's if it loads up....motion would be detected and recorded but when you try to view it from your phone (while sitting at home) you won't even be able to view it. Now if you go and pull it up from the 1tb hard drive, it's all there, works with no problem at all, and quality is great. So there is my pros and cons for this system.

    This is a replacement from the arlo. It set up easy. The wireless cameras transmit from at least 80 to 100ft for my install. The night vision is pretty good also. I have one pointing at my sump pump in the basement and I can hear if the pump is running and also see if the sump pit is overfull. The 2 way speaker is also good but there is some lag but could be due to my slow internet. The only thing I wish I could figure out is how to delete recorded footage instead of filling up the NVR and the NVR auto deleting the old stuff.

      In order to delete old footage, you simply have to wipe the hard drive clean by reformatting it. If there are select recordings you want to back up, you can save them to a USB flash drive before performing the reformat. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

    We have a nightmare neighbor who began to mess with our property, so we decided we needed outside surveillance ASAP. We did some brief reviewing and deciding to take the plunge on these. The trickiest part was figuring out where to plug everything in for power source. The quality is pretty decent and you can change the settings to motion or not, and adjust the range-as in how sensitive the camera is on picking things up. We have had no issues and we are going on about a month now. I'd recommend to anyone looking into external home surveillance as well.

    Easy to set up and better than our previous system but still not great. It does have a remote viewing feature that pairs with your Internet so we are able to check our cameras at our lake cabin from home and there is no monthly charge. The live stream is fine and it does save clips from motion BUT we very rarely can get the clips to play remotely. It will show a still picture, display the time of motion and how long but won't play the video. If we go directly to the NVR system we can view video there no problem but that defeats the purpose of the remote feature. We have one NEST camera and that is amazing but there is a monthly charge for saving and viewing clips when motion is detected. If you are mainly using this as a security system at home and do not need to play back motion clips remotely it is adequate.

    We really like the Night Owl Cameras, very easy to use once we did set up and followed online manual. We have great quality on cameras and night vision is excellent. I would definitely buy these Night Owl cameras again. Price was outstanding for good quality pictures'

    Picture quality is great and covers a large distance. Picture quality at night is good but could be better in dark areas. It picks up the slightest motion. You can adjust sensitivity. Would give 5 stars but sometimes I have a hard time getting the video of "events" to load on my phone. Never an issue watching them on the hard drive.

    This was an easy instal. Need power where installing, but connection to DVR is wireless. All 4 corners of the house transmit well with clear images. Remote view with their app is also clear. Real issue is that when there was movement and I try to view remotely, it will not play. I easily added their door bell, but same issue, cannot see flagged past events.

    I've had the system up and running around the house about a month and no problems. Easy to install and setup. Both apps for computer and mobile work perfectly and handy to use while away from home. I'm very happy to have purchased this servalance camera's package. The playback recorded videos are crisp with HD clarity. The 24 hour toll free help line is the best and fastest help line I've ever used.     You can see anything especially at night, love it. Sometimes I have to unplug the NVR and plug it, because it’ll tell me there’s no signal on my phone but after doing that everything continues to works great. I caught a person trying to break into my neighbors garage and after he couldn’t get in he was about to head over to mines. But he saw the cameras and changed his mind and tried to dodge my other camera from getting his face. I’ll try to upload it, so please check it out. I wish I had 4 more cameras but can’t afford them just yet.

    This is my second set of Wifi cameras. Need a power source, but picture signal is wireless. Compared to the first set (Canadian Company) these are a notch or two better. Downloading saved video very easy, can set to motion-only or constant recording, 1 TB hard drive DVR, four cameras but room to add four more! Phone App is very easy to use. Needed adjustment advice and called twice, received excellent advice which produced solutions first try. Headquarters are in USA (Florida). Like these a lot.

    My biggest issue is the design of these cameras do not allow you to mount on a wall and face left. The camera antennae location gets in the way of rotating left. This is not an issue if mounting on a ceiling, only on a vertical wall. Phone App is okay. I can view live feeds with no problem with clear picture, but the playback does not work nor can I go back to review on the app. I can only review playback on the main device. I also at times lose signals at times to the one camera on the regular antennae. The package does come with one range extender camera.

    Liked that the cameras were wireless and didn't have to drill holes in my home. Cameras were easy to install and position. Whole system easy to set up and get going. Cameras show great details. I only couldn't figure out how to set for correct time since it wasn't hooked up to the internet. Directions were easy to follow. Using the system for outside security of my home.

    I have had these cameras for a few weeks now and for some reason the cameras keep saying no signal randomly. When I try to view the footage on the app it freezes and won’t play some videos. It’s like some videos are just pictures or it just never loads the video. Now my cameras are working on my tv but when I pull up the app they are offline. I wouldn’t recommend the wireless ones. I do love the night vision and the picture quality. I think the wired ones would have been a better choice.

      Hi Mya. A wireless system is not ideal for every setup. It requires a strong Internet connection with ample bandwidth.
