    This camera worked for about 4 months and even with the great help from tech support we could never get it to come back. I'll have Geek Squad take a look at it. Glad I got the warranty.

    I bought because of all the extra features over similar big brand systems. Luckily my installer said let's do a dry run first. The unit did not work at all. It turned on but nothing was visible on the screen. Tried different screens, different HDMI cables, same result. Put everything in the box and returned to best buy. Don't let me stop you, but good luck.

    Great options, if they all work

    Bought this system yesterday. The video quality and distance is excellent. The app is working nicely. The interface software is so so. What I am having a problem with is the motion activation and the PIR activation. That lead me to problems with the 24/7 technical support which is non existent. Supposedly there is a live chat button that I cannot seem to locate. We currently are getting motion and heat detection for alert and record activation at about 10-15 feet from the camera. We purchased this system due to breakins in our vehicles in our driveway. If it will not pick up motion and heat beyond the front bumper of the car then it is a useless product for me. The main reason I was excited was the alert function, not having to record 24/7. I will try calling tomorrow during their phone hours (still not sure what they mean by 24/7 support). Until I actually receive some help and clarification on their product, I will have to not recommend this product.

      By default, these cameras are already set for motion detection. however, you can either decrease the motion sensing capabilities or decrease it based on the scenery at which these cameras are pointing at.

    Literally only worked for 10 minutes

    After testing, installing, then starting setup, the picture went blank after 10 minutes. Next day I called customer service and worked with the technician for 55 minutes to troubleshoot the problem, which was everything I had already done, but I understand he was doing what he's required to do. After he was satisfied but unsuccessful, He said that he would send me an email with a shipping label so that I can return the product, and they would send me out a new DVR. 5 hours later I receive a phone call from another technician. This one wants access to my computer so he can see if it's connected to the router. NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THIS! Access was given and an hour later, he was also unsuccessful. Now it's going to take a week or 2 (at best) before they receive the non working DVR and send me a new one. This was so frustrating, I should have thrown everything back in the box and taken it back to BB and got my money back. But I spent all day fishing wires through walls and installing the cameras. I'm not going to rip it all out after all that work. Let's hope the new unit works properly. I can say that for the few minutes that it did work, the picture quality was very good.

    Just bought today two hours of running the dvr and it just likes blows a fuse or something, installed to a socket and installed by the book. these flimsy hollow plastic cameras, are just not worth the money. stay away and avoid.
