    Good camera as long as you don't need alerts

    I held off on this review due to I wanted to try and work out the new bugs and adjust things. To start off, I opened the box and tried everything out before running cables and drilling holes etc. Everything works fine and I proceeded to start the install. Mind you, I know little to nothing about camera systems and this was a first for me. To skip forward to connecting everything and it all worked. The DVR was working and recording and everything. Then the 1st issue came up. I purchased this system for the push notifications. In short, it would'nt work. The Email portion did so I called Tech support. After a long conversation, I was told that they just moved to servers and it would take a couple days to get the notifications to work. Well, its been 3 weeks and it still doesn't work and no one knows why. I spent a couple days adjusting the sensitivity on the cameras and the privacy areas. They say that the cameras will pick up 100 feet out, nope. They don't. I have had cars come in my driveway 50 feet away and leave and never get recorded. I call Tech support again. They claim I need to widen my privacy area. I did that and now I get 150 emails a day (I am not kidding..150) cause of a tree next to my driveway and it still misses cars coming in and out. If you need a system that you do NOT need notifications on, then it does have good quality images, but there is no push notifications nor is it possible to get tech support to help.

    System works well

    System works OK if you have a regular installation. In my case, I wanted to use a PoE adaptor so I could use some exiting Coax cabling for some cameras. I tried to get a pin configuration of the Ethernet-camera cable included with the system but their technical department could never tell me if they had a standard IEEE 802.3af PoE configuration. I went through several technical people on their staff asking for info with no luck.
