The cameras seem pick up everything in sight. I will say that one should make sure that they have a monitor that is at least 1080p HD as required for this recorder, or you will not get the quality you seek.

Nice system

I have had Night Owl products in the past. I also have hooked up the Night Owl door bell to the system too. All works great and was easy to set up.

Terrible purchase

DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!

CAMARA QUALITY IS TRASH!!!! You can’t even make out what kind of vehicle pass through let alone a license plate! LITERALLY A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

DVR Error

Posted .Thank you for the feedback. Although, recording has nothing to do with the Internet. Connecting the recorder to the Internet allows you to use the remote viewing App and receive automatic software updates.
