I'm very impressed with this cameras. the installation was easy. the signal from the cameras to the receiver is pretty decent. I think the only thing I have to say about this cameras is: when you have to review video, it needs to be more intuit. fast forwarding and rewinding. Also downloading video to flash card is not possible, even if you have enough memory in the flash card, well at least for me I have not been able to download. I had to video tape the video.

I installed the system within a short amount of time and it was easy to set up and put into operation. Tech support was very helpful.

The app is a bit slow. But the cameras look amazing! Love that it sends me motion alerts. These we an addition to a set I already had.

Wasn't interested in the cloud storage, Just a window to the outside. Recording is within their box. Needs it's own tv pulg in to work with the the things available. Plugged into the router and it appears on the PC and phone just fine. Software and features are not a dynamic as my discontinued single 8 year old Logitech camera, but it cost more the the entire Night Owl unit. Central positioning is important to connect the wifi cameras to the unit. Good unit for the money.

I thought they were going to be truly Wireless or Bluetooth something to that effect but it only came out of beat at the cameras need to have current so you have to plug in Outlet. I already had the hardwire one so this was not a bandage to me little disappointed.

I recently purchased the night owl security camera system to replace my Arlo security camera system so reading reviews on a night owl, I decided to give it a try so once I had my cameras in place, the DVR set up and everything downloaded on my phone, the system was is and running I plugged the cameras in and then my bedroom camera went out, it stop receiving signal from the DVR box which is located approximately 20 feet from the camera I did multiple troubleshooting on the system and has yet to get that camera back to working also looking at the camera system on my phone, there’s no way you can go back in time which it has it listed there that you can but for some reason another it doesn’t and I have it on continuous plus motion so I should be able to review it at all times, but it won’t allow me too I’m going to return this back to Best Buy and order me a Lorax wire-free camera system which my relatives have at their house and he does everything that the Nightowl supposed to do, so for a little bit more money, I will buy a better system I have nothing against Nightowl and their security system but for me it just doesn’t work for me

Bought this to replace a old Uniden wireless system. The wireless range is key for where I live. I'm very disappointed with the "300 foot" advertised range. I put one camera on my shop, approx 90 foot from the house and got "no signal". Added the included "9ft extender antenna" and mounted it on the shop roof, moved the receiver into a front window, { where I don't want it} giving a line of sight in between the camera and receiver. Still no signal 90% of the day. The night vision is more than excellent, the images are incredible, but for $400, very, very disappointed with the range. The included password setup is very, very annoying and it has no memory of your settings if it loses power.

This is a fine, versatile system for monitoring the outside of your home or business. The system was easy to install and doesn’t have batteries that need to be recharged. You may need an electrician to hardwire outlets for you. I really like this system and the ability to monitor from a distance what goes on outside our building.

Very good picture and capture features. Had to buy additional cable as system comes with limited amount.

I had mine installed through best buy 3rd party. A couple of glitches getting all cameras up and running. Said my WiFi but after a couple of days they all started working. Gives you real time recording. They have a app that you will have to download. No 3rd party to monitor. You can self monitor.

It is a pretty good camera. Like that it came with 4 but have the option to add more.

Performance is okay. The product was not as versatile as I would have liked.

You can see everything going on day or night. I love the fact that it can be set as a 24/7/365 recording. You an bring up the images on your phone and can hear everything that is going on with it’s great sound. Best investment we have made for the safety of our family and the neighborhood. Love it.

We hooked up the cameras and got them placed where we wanted them to be, however the base does not swivel in a any direction..it just goes up and down and not side to side..hard to adjust.

It's a great Home Security System..it was fairly simple to install but it takes longer than they say it should! You have to get the cameras in just the right range n that takes time.. But it is nice when it's done! The system is 1080p and we hooked it up to a New 32"Vizio that is 1080p...Great picture!!
