Nikon Z lens what more to say? It doesn’t get any better in build, quality and sharpness. Moved up from my 24-70 2.8 F mount to this for my mirrorless system. Super sharp.

Superb sharpness edge to edge at all focal lengths, even in the corners. Probably the most useful lens I own. Fast enough for night shoots and perfect for portraits. What more could you want?

This is an excellent all around lens for Nikon mirrorless cameras. I use it in a Z7II and it is very intuitive. A must have lense for professional photography.

Incredibly sharp lens, fast and quiet. Easy to use, very light. This is definitely my go to lens for weddings, and always stays on one camera.

This lens is an excellent one for both professionals and experienced hobbyists alike. It does an excellent job at staying sharp edge to edge while being slightly smaller in size as compared to Nikons DSLR 24-70 lenses. Additionally, it's bokah at f/2.8 is beautiful, even when using it during semi-landscape portrait photography. The OLED screen is not particularly valuable to me however, and it might have been nice to save a little on the cost of the lens if it was not included. This screen might be valuable for night photographers in certain situations however.

I have the Canon RF 24-70 2.8 as well, but this is a better lens. While it lacks the stabilization in the Canon lens, the optics in this are superior. Nikon is superior in almost every way to Canon in the quality of their glass. I am not saying that Canon is bad, just that in this category, Nikon is better.

Super strong performer, really a viable alternative to the 1.8 S primes. MUCH lighter and more compact than the previous 24-70/2.8E as well. If only it went to 85mm, but a little crop on 45MP isn't bad.

I do music event photography, almost always in low light conditions with very mixed lighting throughout the night. And this lens performs as if there were no obstacles at all. Very fast auto focus but the biggest plus in my opinion, is the super sharpness it delivers. Amazing lens.

I purchased this lens based on reviews which states this is currently the best 24-70 available right now. I would have to agree. I had the Sony 24-70 GM for my a7r3. I was not happy with the images for the price so I returned it. Since I also now own the nikon z7ii, this was my first choice of lens to purchase. No regrets what's so ever. Wherever the nikon goes, this follows along with one prime. Buy it and enjoy.

The Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S is my first full frame lens. The cost, size and weight made me doubt my decision to upgrade from my D5300. I was also questioning purchase of this lens over the 24-70mm f/4 because of reports of how good that lens was and savings over the f/2.8 (especially when bought with body). But after shooting with this lens, I don't regret choosing it over the f/4. I typically find myself in low light situations and wanting to utilize natural light as much as possible. Having the f/2.8 at my disposal, allows me a better chance to do this with the additional benefit of shallower depth of field.

I recently upgraded my DSLR to Mirrorless (5 months ago) and have been using this lens since. This is a fantastic lens and not only feels more premium (over the DSLR G lenses), but the performance of sharpness is unmatched for a short-zoom lens. Definitely recommend getting this lens!

Outstanding lens. Well worth the $$. I shoot a lot of indoor wrestling matches. I started with the 24-70/f4 but needed the 2.8. I am loving this. The IQ is excellent, the bokeh is remarkable. Great for portraits too. 70-200z is next.
