    Great binoculars. Purchased on sale. Used them to spot cracked limbs in my tree from the ice storm. Got all the limbs that were cracked cut off. Now if only we could get the city to pick them up as promised

    Light weight and clear lens. 8x42 is good for up to 75 yards.

    The binoculars does hold up to the Nikon name with regards to how clean the images look when you adjust the zoom. That being said, the zoom strength is not super great. I can see birds and people across the lake in my backyard, but details not so much. If you want it just for the purpose of looking at birds or other wildlife that’s not extremely far-away then this will work for you. Guess if I want great zoom I’ll have to put out some more cash.
