I found the glasses too small for a woman's face. They might be useful as opera glasses but not bird watching. I'm disappointed The lenses do produce sharp views.

These binoculars are so small and very hard to focus and looked much bigger online! For a Nikon product i was surprised at the low quality of these! I returned them!

Optics are marginal compared to compact roof prism models in roughly the same price range.

I am really enjoying these little binoculars. They are great for everything from bird and deer watching in my backyard and the woods near my house to concerts and sporting events. I also own a pair of larger Nikon Prostaff 7S 10X42s that are awesome as well but these you hardly know are around your neck. Their small size and being able to take them easily and have them with me while hiking or doing outside activities was my reason for purchase. They come with a handy neck strap and travel case too. The optics are good, you can see perfectly and they focus great with adequate light but not quite there with my larger set. They are fine for the vast majority of what you would use binoculars for though. It's important to understand that not only these but any set of binoculars this size will not let in enough light for you to see well in lower light conditions. If you want to be able to see well late in the evening, very early in the morning or deep in the woods you want at least a 10X42. Bottom line these are a wonderful Nikon quality, compact easy to have with you set of binoculars for a very reasonable price and I highly recommend them.

These smaller binoculars fit well on my belt and worked great for watching the US Open Golf tournament in Brookline MA I would buy them again.

Such a great quality set of binoculars for not that expensive of a price. Binoculars can be really pricey. These were middle of the road cost and I didn't compromise on viewing quality.
