This lens is PERFECT for low-light portraits. I shoot at sunrise and sunset on the beach and f/1.8 is perfect for what I need. It's hard to find affordable lenses with this aperture. Great purchase!

I wanted to have a prime lens and i had two options 35mm or 50mm. I chose 35 as I like to go closer to the subjects. Even for low lights and night photography this is your best companion.

This Prime lens is a must for your DX camera. It is light weight, super fast focusing, and sharp as it can be. I highly recommend this lens for your collection.

This is a great lens for both low light conditions, portraiture, and landscape work. It produces incredible sharp images with my d7100 and is an all around great lens. It's a must have prime for any photographer.

This is an excellent Dx lens for the money. At f1.8 for 35 mm the price cannot be beat. The Bokeh are excellent. Overall a great 35mm lens to supplement by 18 - 105 lens that came with my camera.

I wanted to get super close and keep detail on pics and this lens allowed me to do that. I also wanted to take pics in the weight room without using a flash and this lens worked great.

At such a low price, this is a great first prime lens for beginning photographers looking to upgrade from their kit lenses. Wonderful in low-light settings. Can't recommend this lens enough.

This is definitely the best day to day lens you can get for the money! It is fast enough to make the most of your DSLR, and it is light to carry a sharp for great quality pictures!

Really sharp clear photos and pretty good in low light. I've had no issues with this. Great prime lens and you can't beat the price.

F/1.8 can solve a lot of lighting problems and good for the photo beginner.

A no-brainer $200 prime lens, 50mm equivalent on DX Nikon cameras. Quite sharp across the frame and very little vignetting even wide open. No good reason for a Nikon DX shooter to not own this lens.

This is a great entry level prime lens, especially at this price. Small, light, well-built. Great image quality - sharp focus, nice bokeh. Good autofocus with the option to manually focus without having to flip a switch. The only thing missing is vibration reduction, but at 35mm you shouldn't need it if you have good technique!

This lens is awesome! It makes close ups nice and crisp with that faded/blurry background that takes pics to the next level. Plus it's a Nikon so the quality is top notch, as always.

The Nikon 35mm 1.8/G is great lens for street photography and is Nifty-fifty (equivalent focal length of 52.5mm) crop sensor camera. Great results on low light conditions and nice Bokeh.

I bought this lense about a month back and so far I am very happy with it. Its quite sharp and very good for low light photography. Good for potrait or street photography.

Excellent prime lens in reasonable price, bokah is nice and appealing... makes photos look great, its a must have for new dslr users and go to lens for your basic needs..
