This lens is great for the price. This is the first lens I have bought, and I use it the majority of the time. Amazing quality photos for someone who has only used kit lenses up until this purchase. Highly recommend.

For $200 you can't go wrong, especially since it has a metal mount and a gasket to keep out dust. (Whoopee-do, the 50mm f/1.8D sells for half as much and has a metal mount, too). Best Buy had a deal on Presidents’ Day for $179.99.

Haven't had a chance to use the lens much, but it appears to do what I expect it to. I am looking forward to shooting with it at a large upcoming event.

We purchased this lens to do better quality close ups of our children. This DOES NOT disappoint! The lens is amazing in clarity and most shots are perfect straight out of camera rather than having to be edited. Highly recommend.

Quality control is an issue maybe, but I have an issue a year later. My focus has a sticky pint in the middle of the focus. Its getting worse. Somwthing inside has binded it feels like. You can even hear it hit that point halfway thru, and its not good. Still works, but for how long? I guess its rma time but still that is no fun.

I purchases my Nikon D7000 with the lens package. While both lenses served it's purpose I was still looking for that everyday quick shooting lens. Well this 35mm suits my needs. quick auto focus and if I want to get closer I just move in. If your looking for a cheap 35mm this is it.

Good lens, at a great price. Especially with the price match. A no brainer. I use this on a Nikon 5300

good lens for my Nikon dslr gives good colors if you do video it will not be good for auto focusing while filming

This lense is fantastic. The clarity and quick focus ability is great. The ability to focus quickly is a great asset allowing you to capture the moment before it is gone.

Really good lens for beginners. However, I do wish it came with a little zoom. Other than that it's really great and 100% worth the money

This lens provides a much higher contrast for dim objects compared to my Nikon DX 18-300 mm zoom lens. As expected it requires care to focus it properly when the focusing must be done manually. I am delighted with the purchase.

This is a great lens! I'm impressed with the amount of light it lets in in low-lighting.

The lense was way out of focus on my D7000 and i took it to have to calibrated to my camera and after doing that it's taking awesome pictures.

The lens that came with my Nikon camera has an f-stop of 3.5 which is rather slow for indoor, no-flash photography. This new f1.8 lens suits my purposes very well.

Takes great clear photos, need to work with it a little more, but so far happy with it. Mainly bought it for inside low light photos of my dog.

Nice lens but I only returned it because it's a fixed lens and I needed more range for now. I bought another NIKON lens from Best Buy that is 18-150mm instead. Couldn't afford both.
